Monthly Rentals in Macedonia

My family wanted a cozy cabin in the mountains for the holiday. John was a great host and the cabin was perfect. My kids enjoyed the games, books, and bunk room. It is located in a cute little town near Helen and Cleveland so it was perfect for what we had planned. Highly recommend! We hope to rebook in the summer!

We had a wonderful stay here! Our visit was to attend our friends’ wedding at The Retreat at Hiawassee River (6 minute drive), but we were also able to easily get to Hiawassee and Helen throughout our stay. So, the location is incredible! This cabin was cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was so awesome and while we didn’t cook anything, we appreciated having a coffee maker and large fridge for all our snacks. The hot tub was divine and was the perfect way to relax in between wedding festivities. The bed was very comfy, too! If you’re someone who likes to unpack when you arrive, please note that there aren’t any dressers or chests of drawers. But the closets are great, and there are luggage racks that can hold relatively large suitcases! Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend it (and our host) to anyone thinking of visiting!

My husband, pup and I loved this little home in the mountains! The patio in the back is beautiful and the bed swing is delightful for relaxing! We had some trouble with the entry door key pad a few times but the owners were very responsive in helping us get the problem resolved. It is a close drive to downtown Hiawassee, Hayesville NC, Young Harris and Blairsville so we were able to get everywhere we wanted to very easily. The stairs to the top floor are very steep so likely not a good fit for someone of older age, pregnant or with physical limitations. I only wish we would have taken time to enjoy the fire pit because they had a great set up!

Rock's place was just as described, a nice little hideaway with a view of the lake. The property was private and cozy. Rock was quick to respond to questions and communicated well both before and during our stay.
