Holiday rentals with a patio in Maarkedal

This is a super property and we really enjoyed our stay here. It was a little difficult to find, mostly because the auto translate on Airbnb wasn’t terribly accurate. Fortunately once we read the original French and looked at the photos, we were able to find our way. The property is excellent Everything we needed was provided. The equipment in the kitchen has been carefully considered. The bed is really comfortable and we slept well in the peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed walking around the nearby ponds in the evenings and in the stillness we were able to watch the many herons which came to visit after the anglers had gone, as well as seeing a water vole swimming around the banks. We were in the area to watch the Paris-Roubaix bike race, and the property is about 15 minutes away from the iconic Mons-en-Pévèle sector, so we were ideally placed to enjoy the race here. We would definitely recommend a stay here. Many thanks!

This is our second time at Nicolas's place, and we felt right at home. Nicolas is a communicative and responsive host, and this is really an amazing place for kids - my kids were so happy to have so many toys available! There is also a park about 5 blocks away, a grocery store 2 blocks away, and if you walk to the tram stop there is a sushi restaurant my kids love, a pizza-making ATM (really! with a line of families whose kids must be as amazed by it as mine), and a great boulangerie.

Great base to visit Lille. Cozily furnished cozy space. A bit noisy because you're in town, but we didn't mind.

Wonderful stay, great location to use public transport. Apartment is very clean and has everything you need. 10/10 recommend, we can’t wait to visit again.

Everything is perfect. Jean-Louis and Carolin are always attentive. The apartment beautiful, super comfortable the sommier and also the sofa bed. Also, we were offered a storage room to leave our suitcases for a while. Super recommended...

Beautiful BnB in a typical Belgian idyllic place. Ideal base for hiking in the forest or a day in Ghent.

We had a last minute change of plans and needed to find a new spot to stay quickly. So glad we found this gem! The host was so gracious and generous. We showed up to fresh tulips, mint water, and a bottle of Prosecco. They even offered to help us make a restaurant reservation. The house was just darling- all the comforts of home, cozy patio for night time wine, walking distance to shops and food, AND TinTin books! Charming. We only had one night there but we would have stayed longer. Thanks again for the perfect stay!

What to say? Our stay at Arnaud and Sofia's was excellent! Our hosts are very courteous, kind and friendly. The house is spotless and super nice, true that the hot tub is an undeniable plus but we want to emphasize that the house, well located in a lot of view, is tastefully arranged. Quiet and serenity were at the rendezvous. We very much hope to be able to come back and taste the charm of this cozy place. Dom and Fran

The cottage is packed with amenities. The kitchen design is very complete, from coffee maker to wine extractor, everything was there. The beds are of good quality, everything was clean, in short recommended for those who want to stay in this area for a shorter or longer period of time. Sabine is a friendly and thoughtful host.

This was one of our favorite Airbnb stays ever!! The living space is gorgeous and has everything you need + more. The bedroom + bathroom are elegant & spacious. The location, right by Gravensteen (Castle of the Counts), is optimal but the neighborhood is still quiet! A pleasant garden space is perfect for enjoying a morning coffee.

The house is warm and convenient with 4 beautiful bedrooms. Franciska decorated her home for this November Christmas period, which made it even warmer. Franciska is available, intentional and very enjoyable. We enjoyed our stay very much, thanks Franciska. Access to Bruges by train is convenient from Ostend station. I recommend.

Good place! Easy to centre if you have a car, there are 4 bedrooms so you can sleep with 8 people, everything clean and also a chill garden!

Very pleasant and functional accommodation, close to Lille. No metro nearby but a bus connects the neighborhood directly to Lille Flandre station. Very friendly and responsive host.

Lovely experience. Olivier is a very nice and friendly host, always ready to answer our questions and easy to deal with. The apartment is impeccable and matches exactly the pictures. Everything is nice and clean, the place is in a beautiful neighbourhood. I recommend!

Ahmed's place was great, super clean , very nice smell upon arrival . Metro within walking distance 5 min to go to the center of Lille. The host was very responsive when we had any questions. I recommend it.

The accommodation is really charming, very well organized, convenient, the bedding is very comfortable,the small inner courtyard nice to drink your coffee quietly in the morning. Everything is well arranged, the kitchen is very well organized, very functional, there is everything you need. The bathroom is nice and well equipped. We had a great time with our 2 children and our 2 dogs. Thank you Vincent!

Amazing House and Very Peaceful Setting

Great stay at Dieter’s place - lovely apartment in a great location, communication was fantastic throughout!

Super helpful host for all of our needy questions! Great location. Can walk to most of town, and we took a bus to opposite SE side of town. (But could be a far walk.) Need to bus to get to the train station. Bus system was good, worked well with Google Maps. Kids things: We had a toddler sleeping upstairs in our own pack n play (I think Kiefer offered a cot, too). The upstairs room did get dark enough for her to nap during daytime. It was far away from our bedroom, but our monitor signal still barely reached. There was a bright sensor/automatic light for the stairs that would light up her room when we left at bedtime, but maybe that could be turned off, or maybe not an issue for your kid.
