Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lyons-la-Forêt

We were a family of 6 staying for a long weekend over Easter. Lauren's communication was excellent and we really appreciated the detailed list of supermarkets, shops and things to do - having not been to this area before we were reassured that it would be a good choice. The accommodation, especially the downstairs areas in the kitchen, lounges and table outside were spacious and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a holiday in Normandy coming from the UK as is only a 2-3 hour drive from Calais and an excellent base for places like Bayeux, Honfleur and Deauville. We had a wonderful time in Richard’s beautiful house - everyone loved the stay so much, including the kids! The house is absolutely perfect, especially for a large group who wants to spend time together but still enjoy the peaceful and quiet surroundings. Highly recommended, we will try to come back next year!

We stayed in the house for a few days with eight people and had a wonderful time. The house and garden offer plenty of space for long meals together and activities such as badminton, table tennis and boules. From the house, you can't see any other buildings; the view of the trees and landscape surrounding the house is magical and calming. The only negative point I have to mention is that there wasn't enough toilet paper, cleaning cloths, and garbage bags. When we asked, we were told we would have to get them ourselves from the supermarket. Given the high rent, I'd assume I wouldn't have to buy garbage bags myself.

We hebben met de familie, inclusief 2 honden en een baby, een geweldige tijd gehad in het prachtige huis van Anaïs en Stéphane. De ruimtes zijn mooi, ruim en erg gezellig ingedeeld, met als hoogtepunt de geweldige keuken en verwarming/haard in de woonkamer. We hebben zeker ook genoten van de enorme tuin met verwarmd zwembad en speelschuur. Het huis en directe omgeving zijn zeer rustig en privé. Op korte rijafstand liggen tal van mooie steden en dorpen, hikes en tuinen (van Monet). Die laatste was vrij toeristisch maar zeker de moeite waard. Het was soms een beetje manoeuvreren met de 2 aanwezige badkamers en het aantal mensen, maar het ging allemaal goed! Al met al hebben we enorm genoten, en was de communicatie ook super! Ik raad het zeker aan!

We had a lovely weekend stay at Olek’s house. We loved the charm and character of the place and watching the swallows who nest in the eaves outside next to the kitchen. Lyons-La-Foret is beautiful and it was so nice to be able to walk into the town centre and also enjoy the woodland walks around the house. Olek and Shirley were very welcoming hosts, and the bits and pieces in the fridge plus the morning pastries were very much appreciated! Thank you so much for a lovely stay. We look forward to coming back!

We had a short stay at Aurelie’s place driving from the UK to a family wedding in the South. Our family of 5, felt very comfortable, our young boys slept very well in the bunk beds and our baby in the cot provided which was built ready for our arrival - very helpful when we arrived late evening! The pool is a great size and very clean and the gardens are beautifully kept, the children enjoyed the trampoline and the pool, as well as a few toys provided. We enjoyed so much we’ve rebooked for our return journey to back to the UK. Thank you Aurelie and family ☺️

What a fabulous little place, we loved our few days there. It was extremely clean and comfortable with beautiful surroundings. The pool was fantastic and we had great weather to enjoy it. We enjoyed a circular walk from the house to Caudabec en Caux returning along the river. We found a great restaurant too! Thoroughly recommend this lovely place which was great for our dog too. Fabulous hosts completed our stay!

We had a perfect stay with Sylvie. The house was cosy and very private. We loved to wake up every morning surrounded by all the farm animals. Sylvie brought us breakfast every morning with homemade and local products. When visiting, definitely visit nearby towns on the route du cidre and try out all kinds of cider. And if I had to give one point of improvement, it would be that the shower spray is pretty soft, but that did not ruin anything. We can’t wait to come back!

Maison de haut standing, tout équipé. Endroit calme et reposant. Cadre absolument agréable avec une maison très bien agencé que ce soit l'intérieur ou l'extérieur. Fabrice est un hôte avec qui la communication est facile et qui s'adapte à nos demandes. Je recommande a 100%

We had such an amazing stay here, Valerie is such a wonderful host, who was very thoughtful and attentive to detail, Even leaving us a bottle of alcohol as a gift and being very helpful in making sure we had anything we may need for our stay. The Cottage was gorgeous and the garden was perfect for our dog. Our dog did not want to leave. We loved the heated pool too!. It was the perfect stay. We hope to come back, Thankyou Valerie

Séjour exceptionnel une fois de plus ! C’était notre deuxième passage dans ce logement, et tout était parfait. L’hôte a été incroyablement compréhensif et flexible, notamment en nous autorisant un départ tardif, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Le logement est propre, paisible et surtout rempli d’activités : en trois jours, nous n’avons même pas eu le temps de tout tester tellement il y avait de choses à faire. On ne s’ennuie jamais ici ! Je recommande à 100 % et nous reviendrons sans hésitation. Merci encore !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement. Tout était conforme à la description : propre, bien équipé et très bien situé. Juliana a été très réactif et attentionnée ce qui a rendu notre week-ends encore plus agréable. Nous étions entre amis (et enfants) et avons passé un merveilleux weekend dans cette maison. La maison est joliment décorée, très propre, toute équipée. Le jardin est très joli et parfait pour y déjeuner ou s'allonger sur transat au soleil. Pleins de jeux à dispo : babyfoot, table ping pong, molki etc. Et un grand merci à Catherine pour son accueil !

Nous sommes arrivées à 5h du matin après une soirée de mariage, arrivée très facile, logement très propre, la literie était super. Vraiment très agréable. J’aurai souhaité que nous puissions rester plus longtemps pour profiter du cadre et du logement! Nous n’avons pas eu la chance de rencontrer les hôtes mais super sympa par message!! Je recommande.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment chez Laure et son mari, qui sont d’une grande gentillesse et très accueillants. La maison était impeccable, très propre et parfaitement préparée. Ils nous ont fait visiter leur ferme et leurs vaches, pour le plus grand bonheur des enfants. Nous sommes vraiment ravis d’avoir pu séjourner dans leur maison. Merci encore pour cette belle expérience !

Nous avons passé un agréable week-end en famille dans cette belle demeure au calme. L’intérieur comme le jardin sont très agréables. Cuisine très bien équipée, un beau salon avec cheminée qui donne envie d’y retourner à l’automne. Très bien située à proximité de Giverny, Vernon et de nombreux autres lieux à visiter et permettant de se ressourcer au calme après les visites. Merci à Céline pour les échanges et les conseils en amont du séjour. Merci à Philippe pour son accueil et ses conseils de visites et restaurants. Nous n’avons pas pu tout tester! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans cette belle demeure où l’on se sent vraiment bien pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis.

Accueil très sympathique. Maison très coquette , décorée Avec soin et bcp de goût. Propreté impeccable. Cadre bucolique . Petite attention très apprécié ( œufs de la ferme et jus de pomme bio). Je recommande +++
