This was a very enjoyable and relaxing place to stay. Everything is top-notch and we felt at home! A welcoming note and some cookies started our stay off! It’s very close to restaurants and stores. We will definitely plan to stay here again.

Jan responded right away to several questions we had and even came over when I could not find a light switch. My oversight. Very friendly!! We had a wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage is very clean and organized. It was perfect for my husband and I. We had our two tiny dogs as well and they enjoyed the yard and the peaceful surroundings. The bed was super comfy which is so important to me. I slept great! We enjoyed the hot tub each night of our stay (4 nights.) 3 minutes down the road is one of the most beautiful lakes and parks I have ever been to. It's huge with lots of woodsy hiking trails and expansive meadows. It's awesome that Cayla provides paddleboards to get out on the gorgeous lake. Last, I really appreciate the thorough instructions for how to use the appliances (heating/cooling, coffee maker, hot tub, etc.) No guesswork here. I greatly appreciated the chalkboard and book of suggestions of things to do in the area as well. There is another cottage behind the front cottage with a big field separating the two and the driveway is shared. This was no problem for us. It still felt private and peaceful.

Our stay at Nova's place was relaxing and stress-free as any good getaway should be, and yet still had the comforts of staying at home. The space is decorated in a calming, neutral palette, complimenting its natural surroundings. The property was beautiful, home to a variety of lovely plants. The chickens were a delight to watch, as were the numerous wild birds. We were greeted by Nova and Nia both upon arrival; they are both the sweetest, calmest dogs I've ever met. Nova came over at least once a day for a visit while we were sitting on the patio, such a joy! The home had the basic cooking necessities, extra linens and pillows. The bed was very comfortable, and I always struggle getting comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with the basic toiletries, in the event you happened to forget anything. The town and general vicinity are gorgeous, there are several shops and eateries to check out. I highly recommend Cricket's Antique & Garden Shop as well as Two Birds and The Farmhouse Cafe.
