Along the main boulevard, you will encounter independent shops, friendly cafes and lively tavernas serving up freshly caught seafood and local delicacies. Wander around the harbor’s edge and see if you can spot the traditional Greek fishing boats called ‘Kaikis.’ The village is known for its three beaches, lined by tamarix trees and celebrated as the most beautiful stretches of sand on the island.
