really loved the place! it looked exactly as described, and the decor and view were absolutely amazing. I had a great time bonding with my friends. Everything was well-equipped and easy to use with instructions.

Whats great place to stay! Everything is in walking distance! Not far from all the fun up North! My buddy and I stayed up there for our buddy's wedding! Not far from the cabins they where at! I would stay here again! Nice home that made you feel at home! Plus Great water pressure always a plus! Thank you again! This house is a must!

My husband, my 3 boys, and I stayed at the Birch House for a week. My husband and 2 oldest boys fished in Ely for the week. It wasn’t too far from their fishing location. The baby and I stayed and relaxed in the house all week! It was supper comfy and the baby loved bathing in the walk in shower. He had plenty of room to roam and do what baby’s do. The house was squeaky clean when we got there and the host were supper friendly and easy to communicate with! 10/10! Would recommend and would stay there again!

We felt right at home! The house was comfy and perfect for our weekend getaway! We are already talking about making another trip soon!

Our family of four had a most enjoyable and relaxing stay here. I have no hesitation in recommending this location and the kind hosts. It made for a great relaxing and peaceful retreat near the Duluth area. It was an easy drive to Duluth and the North Shore. We would definitely choose to return if there was an opportunity to do so. We stayed at Cedar Cove for 5 nights with our extended family with an age range of 18 months to 80 years. This house is a perfect place for a multi generation get together. Everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the beautiful house and furnishings. There are multiple sitting areas and the beds are extremely comfortable. The view of Lake Superior is gorgeous. The house is very well equipped with all the kitchen ware we could have needed. It is also stocked with many good books, puzzles and games. It is a perfect place to get away and relax.

We had a such a relaxing time here! Host was very responsive. The place was so nice and clean and was perfect for our getaway in two harbors! We really enjoyed the bonfire pit and the sauna!

Debbie's place was very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. It's a great location - walkable to restaurants and shops, and close to the Bear and Wolf centers and close to hiking trails. We would highly recommend!

If you are fortunate enough, to spend some time on Minnesota’s North Shore, you won’t be disappointed staying here. Brenda and Tom‘s place is exactly as described. It is more than we expected. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and a lovely place to spend a vacation. The location is perfect and so scenic! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even spotted an Eagle! We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring the surrounding area, including Gooseberry Falls, Grand Marais, and the quaint town of Two Harbors.

Great place. Best part was the location. Walked the beach every morning. Very close to the harbor and cool restaurants. Quiet, friendly neighbors. Very pleased with our choice, would stay there again.

Such a peaceful stay. It felt like being in a tree house. Lake views from the bedroom and forest views from the living room. Would stay here again for sure. You could hear the people in adjoining apartment shutting cabinets and talking (I’m sure they could hear us) but still 100% peaceful.

I loved this place! It was exactly as advertised with solid amenities and no clutter getting in my way. The location was great and it was very peaceful there. There was sound from the homeowners above, but only comforting homey sounds. I enjoyed watching the deer out the windows. The small kitchen was well organized and easy to cook and clean up. Overall a great place to stay. I definitely recommend.

Loved our stay at Cedar's Seaside Chalet. Everything was exactly as described. The view of Lake Superior was spectacular. Loved falling asleep with the window cracked listening to the waves. Our son really enjoyed the sleeping loft with the skylight and video game. We were in Lutsen to support a friend running a 50K ultra marathon, so we didn't spend a ton of time in the condo, but when we did it was super relaxing and we crashed hard! Will definitely be back again!

Great location. Rooms were clean, and decor was fabulous. The only problem we ran into was that there was no grill so we ended up cooking inside instead and because it is a lower level there was not much ventilation and the smoke alarms went off...other than that we had a fin and peaceful weekend.

This place was perfect for our getaway. The dogs loved walking the 40 acre property, everything was clean and nice, and it has a great firepit too. It is about 30 minutes from everything North Shore you would want to do. We are not sauna people, but it looked like a good one.

A great little get away! Such a cozy space with great vibes and cute decor. We especially enjoyed the backyard area for bonfires. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was low water pressure, for those who care for a refreshing shower... but maybe just part of cabin life. We did not have any issues, but Erin reached out a couple times to check in during our stay. I think she would have been very responsive had there been an issue.

This is a very cute place. Sauna is very nice, it is shared with the other cabin but you can reserve times. Beautiful view from the deck and nice chairs to sit on. I really loved all the windows in the cabin, lots of light. There is a very nice fire pit with comfy chairs next to the cabin. The ladder to the bed in the loft may be a bit steep for some. The bed is extremely comfortable with nice bedding and pillows. The throw blankets and sheep skins were a nice touch when cuddling up in the swinging chair. It was different not being able to have the pup upstairs with us, but he did ok. There are many close beaches and waterfalls. Overall a nice place to stay.

This was a great getaway for our little family of four! With a 2 year old and a 4 year old, we've been wanting to go camping but not quite ready yet for the whole experience. Brien and Shelley's place gave us the experience of nature, togetherness, and some amount of fending for ourselves (bringing drinking water, using an outdoor toilet, bonfires, etc.), while still providing the comfort and ease of a real bed and a real kitchen! We love visiting Two Harbors, where there is plenty to explore and it's a quick drive to multiple State parks, and yet, we were amazed and grateful at how private this place was. And what a bonus to have the river run through! (Great for our agate-loving family members.) Thanks for your hospitality! We hope to return!

Super cozy and fun spot just a few minutes from downtown grand marais! We had a great time staying at this Airbnb while hiking some segments of the superior hiking trail. The space was cozy and we loved the fire, the comfy beds, and the chickens. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect—just a short drive to Grand Marais, but far enough out to really feel like you're up north. It was peaceful and scenic, a great little getaway. We also really appreciated that it's pet-friendly. Just a heads-up for anyone with a large dog: the stairs are quite steep, so keep that in mind. Overall, a cozy and relaxing spot!

This cute little cabin was the perfect spot for us to relax over a long holiday weekend. The surroundings are beautiful, and there is so much to explore along the North Shore. It is small and the perfect size for me and my husband. Would also work well if you had 2 small kids. Book this no-frills place if you want a break from the stress of the city. Just a short walk down the road to the beach and rock coast of Lake Superior. We enjoyed ourselves immensely!

Great stay. The view and beach access are as advertised. Home has everything you’d need for a family vacation!
