Had a great stay at Marsha’s places 0 complaints. Very friendly she made sure I had everything I needed and made sure to check up on me. Most friendly and caring host I have experienced on airbnb. Would stay again and recommend for others.

This is a great place to stay and tour the DC Metro area - provided you have a car. Most days it would take us 30 minutes to get to and from DC though if we hit rush-hour, it was as long as an hour. The space is tidy and great. My kids love the pool, though it was a little cold for me-they swam there every night. Jennifer is great to communicate if you have any needs she gets stuff done right away. Note that there is only one bathroom, which can be a pain if you have a full house of six people. The washer and dryer are small so it will take you longer if you’re used to a full size. She had all the cooking methods and appliances available. The theater room has Netflix and Amazon prime ready for you to watch a show. There is even a popcorn maker. We did not use the gym, but it was nice - comparable to a small hotel gym. Property is in the owner’s basement, so there is some sound from upstairs as identified in the listing. Host stays out of your way but is there if you need anything.

We enjoyed our stay! Easy drive to Alexandria, Georgetown, and all DC attractions. Home was comfortable and exactly as described.

This is a beautiful waterfront property located close to everything that Lexington Park had to offer. The host has organized the apartment very neatly with lots of useful information and entertainment. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again

What a calm and peaceful private retreat! My fiancée and I spent a couple of days enjoying the brisk bay breezes and beautiful sunsets at Vickie’s. Everything was exactly as advertised and Vickie (and Scott) are true treasures—extremely responsive and thoughtful hosts who want you to have everything you need. Plus, their knowledge of the area gave us a great introduction to Leonardtown. So much more to the area than we thought! Whether birdwatching from “the best view on the block” or reflecting on the glider by the bay, we loved every moment of quiet and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you!

Our second time here! An absolutely adorable gem of an Airbnb with the nicest hosts and most beautiful garden and dock on the River! Great restaurant recommendations, super comfortable beds, and lovely living room. Perfect for families visiting the beloved St. Mary’s River.

Great place with fantastic views of the Potomac . Close to many dining options within walking distance. We went for a Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. I highly recommend.

Place was nice and in a good location. Host was responsive. Good news is that it’s in a good location, but it is by the main road and can get a little loud, probably mostly on weekend nights. But places close early, so noise doesn’t last long..

We had such a wonderful stay! The kitchen was incredibly well stocked—honestly better than my own at home—with 5-6 large pots, an Instant Pot, every spice you could think of,peelers (which saved me!), and both a NutriBullet and a regular blender. It made cooking for the family a breeze. The kid had a blast on the trampoline, and we all loved the easy beach access with calm waters perfect for swimming all day and kayaking. The beach was also perfect for a peaceful morning run, and at night we could see the lighthouse light on the water. The porch quickly became our favorite spot—we gathered there to watch a rainstorm and were treated to a stunning double rainbow. The sky was full of stars at night, creating such a peaceful atmosphere. The grill on the porch made cooking super convenient. We enjoyed being close to a large park where we played pickleball. The beds were large and comfortable—everyone slept really well. Michael was a fantastic host—very attentive and accommodating.

We visited Southern Maryland for a family wedding. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Beds are comfy, house comfy, and they thought of the little things like : a full sized ironing board & Iron, beach towels, good soaps, and all you need for s’mores!Their welcome handbook was very detailed. Our only regret was that we could not spend more time on the property itself (because of family events). Would have loved to use the kayaks and the fire pit. My brother did use hot tub. Great stay! Highly recommend

We had such a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The layout was perfect for spending quality time together while still giving everyone space to unwind. Private beach access made it even more special—we made great memories, met some lovely neighbors, and even had a chance to paddle board and spot a stingray! Huge shout-out to Leigh, our amazing host—so thoughtful, responsive, and kind. We’re so grateful for the experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The area and view are beautiful and the home's decor is welcoming. The home was very comfortable for our family group and had a VERY well-stocked kitchen. The master bed was VERY comfortable as were the rest of the beds. My husband and I slept well. We all felt at home. MJ was very responsive when I had questions and communicated about the property in clear, concise language. The host provided many outdoor recreation opportunities, which included paddleboards, kayaks, and life jackets. There was a nice sized pool but we were visiting out of season so we did not use it. The exercise room downstairs has a lot of equipment. We all enjoyed our time together. Our family is asking to come back again next year. Thanks for a great stay!

Scott and Melinda's place was perfect for a peaceful getaway for our family of 5. The water was so nice to wake up to and fall asleep hearing the water move by! The thought of all the basic needs and had everything easily accessible from fresh eggs from their chickens, a great variety of coffee pods and creamer, and all the other small needs that come up while staying in an airbnb. This was great since it is off the beaten path. If you are looking for some peaceful family time or a secluded retreat with friends, this is a perfect place!

My family and I stayed here for a week for our family vacation. We are a group of 8 (6 adults and 2 kids) and there was plenty of room for all of us. We barely left the house because with the beautiful view, dock, beach area, canoe, kayaks, hot tub, game room/ library, corn hole, and fire pit we all had plenty to keep us entertained. Everyone loved Mary & Shelly’s place, and it provided the perfect space for us to enjoy the river and each other’s company!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Colonial Beach Airbnb. The house is very cozy, well stocked, clean, updated and Carmen is a thoughtful host. The deck is a great area to relax overlooking the water and a few tried their luck fishing off the dock. Very nice!

This place worked wonders for our family vacation. the place is very new and updated with 2 full bathrooms that were clean and spacious for beach time and baths with kids. colonial beach is a hidden gem in a historic little town that seems as though at one point was hustling and bustling but isn't quite as popular as it once was but trying to come back. if your a family looking for a uncrowded beach and some activities to do in the area then this place is great! we actually read about this place being in the heart of historic downtown. only thing we would have loved to see with this place is some outdoor patio spot at the home directly to be able to sit outside together. the location does not really have any night life during the week, not even on 4th of July. we went out at 9 pm and the bar closed at 10 pm which seemed way too early for a Thursday and holiday and being on the beach.

After a little miscommunication on the arrival time, everything was at it should be or better. Great location, clean, responsive well worth it. Great experience and will be back regularly.

And the location couldn’t be more convenient—close to major highways, grocery stores, restaurants, and plenty of things to do. Whether you’re laying low or exploring the area, it’s all within reach. I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Brandon’s home was as beautiful as the pictures. We loved how easy it was to walk to everything in the town. The pool and rooftop patio were an added bonus. We enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen, and the house easily accommodated our group of 8. We will be back!

Quiet place at the end of the road close to grocery store and target. Harbor and downtown DC within a twenty min drive. Clean, host and Co host very responsive.

We had an amazing girls weekend in large part because of how beautifully the rental was decorated, the amenities that came with it and its amazing location! We all agreed we will be looking at renting this location again next year!

Condo was in a perfect location in North Beach area. Loved walking boardwalk and walked 5+ miles daily. Felt very safe in the area, everyone was so friendly. Mexican restaurant and Baia were fantastic. Very peaceful. Condo definitely worth the money. Host was very responsive and let us check in early and was quick to reply to any text questions. Loved the view!
