Sheets and bath towels are available to borrow for SEK 100/person. Bed linen + bath towel = SEK100/person. The apartment is very centrally located in separate farmhouse and consists of 1 room, kitchen and shower/wc spread over 43 sqm. In the bedroom there is a divisible double bed, closet, sofa group with TV. In the kitchen there is a sink, stove, fridge, coffee maker, as well as other equipment. A bed is in the kitchen. In addition, there are two folding tourist beds and a travel bed for young children. A freezer is located in a storage room next door.

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Här finns vandringsleder, strand, café, minigolf mm. Bra fiske.

A nice and cozy cottage on the river with a wooden terrace three-quarters around and a spacious garden so you can enjoy the sun all day. A cozy kitchen, but equipped with everything you need. We had super sunny days and could therefore use the outdoor kitchen for breakfast/lunch/evening - ideal! The water took some getting used to, but it's no problem for washing dishes/showering. For sleeping we used the sofa bed in the living room and slept well on it. The conservatory is a beautiful addition to the cottage: from here you can also see the river. Furthermore, there is plenty to do and experience with all the amenities at the cottage: we mainly used the canoe - recommended👍. In addition, there are plenty of hiking areas in the area to take both short and long walks. We had a great time here for a few days!

This place is truly magical—peaceful, with an amazing lake view. If it had been warmer, we’d have taken the boat out. The house is spacious, in a private, quiet, and idyllic setting. The kitchen is fully equipped, the floor heating is cozy in winter, and the fireplace adds a wonderful touch. We were welcomed with a bottle of delicious wine and a lit fireplace. Overall, an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a quiet escape in nature.
