Very nice house, very clean with quality amenities. Quiet place. We encountered a small problem with the pool and Thibaut was very responsive in trying to resolve the problem remotely , even if the problem was not completely resolved, but we were able to enjoy it and have a good holiday.

Typical house of Ile de Ré, very pleasant with its garden and summer kitchen. It's big and well laid out. Its location is perfect . A stone's throw from the port and its shops, like the Arnérault beach. Alexandra is very welcoming. Don't hesitate to book their parking because in high season finding a spot can be complicated. We had a lovely stay .

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Pascale and Laurent's beautiful, very well-equipped and characterful home! A perfect place for a family gathering, with spacious and comfortable living spaces inside and out to chat and relax and the sparkling pool and table tennis table for a little light exercise! The fascinating historical port city of La Rochelle is less than half an hour away by bus and the Atlantic with access to coast paths is nearby. We enjoyed a visit to the Sunday market in the square in Nieul sur Mer followed by un petit cafe en terrasse at the inviting and friendly Bistrot de la Place. We much appreciated the possibility of an early check in and Stephanie, Pascale and Laurent's local agent, was most helpful as well as friendly and welcoming, responding immediately to any queries we had. Merci beaucoup!!

We recently stayed at this property with all the family and two babies. The hosts were very accommodating and it was great that they were able to organise an additional travel cot and high chair. The house is very well located to the local town and markets - we didn’t need a car! We walked or cycled. The house was spacious and pool fantastic. I think the only negative/something to consider is that there is no air-con and no fans provided. The week we were there was extremely warm and we all were so very hot. Having plug in fans in each bedroom would make the stay that little bit easier - as sleeping at night was hard. However overall the stay was perfect!

Very nice family stay in this beautiful barn! The site is very quiet. The house is quite exceptional and very original. We had a lovely stay with family in this villa, welcoming with its refined decoration, beautiful garden and beautiful size swimming pool. The plancha and the sheltered terrace are ideal for summer meals.

Incredible house for a family reunion, there is all the desired equipment. It was happiness! Fully equipped for children. Bedding kit quite expensive to rent as not provided (€28 per person), but we brought our own linen so no problem for us:) It was a great stay thanks to this dream house!

Wild Dunes was even better than we expected. Clean, bright, airy with good size rooms and air conditioning in the main rooms. A beautiful garden, with a great pool, loungers and furniture plus outdoor games (petanque court, chess, darts, table tennis). 10-15 mins by bike to the local boulangerie and port. 1 hours walk to the lighthouse which was great with the dog. Clara and Pascal were lovely hosts. Always willing to help and make suggestions, without being obtrusive. While it was not an issue for us and only my opinion, the garden is great for adults and older children but not what I would call 'foolproof' for young children or 'excitable' dogs. Various steps, flagstone paths with pebbles and only a small grassy area offer some risk of accident. Having said that the pool was great, with good safety features and our dog had a great time communicating with the other dogs and there was plenty of room at the front and sides to sniff around. So maybe I'm over thinking it.

Our stay at Emilie’s place was great! The house is very clean and modern with a lovely garden area which was perfect for our little one. 10 minute walk to the beach was perfect. Lovely quiet town which was walkable from the house. Great location to get to nearby towns. We couldn’t use the pool unfortunately due to it being very cold, I would be mindful booking this time of year again as the heating was not on in the pool. Would have been great to have this. Emilie was a great host, very responsive to our questions and very accommodating. We would come back again as a family for sure. Thank you for having us.

Great location for exploring La Rochelle or relaxing at the property. Both owners were very friendly and helpful (albeit with a language barrier due to our limited French). Well equiped unit with all the essentials.

Beautiful house, typically Retaise as described in the listing. Spacious for 8 people. The garden is just beautiful, with heated pool. Everything is planned for a great stay. In addition, is very well located, between Le Bois, La Couarde and Saint Martin. Catherine is very responsive when you ask her for anything. We'll be happy to go back.

Great weekend with friends at Sabrina's. Beautiful house, welcoming and accommodating host. Close to the center of La Rochelle by car or bike. No complaints, we'll be back!

Guillaume was very available for our entire stay. I would definitely recommend Villa Coco, a typical residence in the region. The number of beds, the supply of indoor games as well as outdoor games, the heated pool and canoes are a real plus for this rental. This house is perfectly located for visits to the area but it is also quite possible to stay in the residence which is enough to itself. Thank you again so much for a lovely family holiday 😊
