Definitely worth considering if you're looking for a more authentic and rustic experience. While the exterior of the building might lead to questionable expectations regarding the quality of the home, the interior is completely different. The building does has visible age in certain places, like the creaky floors, but it was far outweighed by the modern creature comforts that have been added. With functioning A/C, a full kitchen, hot water, etc. We didn't feel like we had to sacrifice anything in order to stay here. It was also exceptionally clean, we didn't encounter any bugs despite the rual location, and was immediately greeted with a "clean" smell upon entering the home. The carpets had visibly been vacuumed before our arrival and all the linens we used were clean. As for the authenticity factor, I will note that light sleepers should come prepared. The many roosters on the property arent shy from doing their jobs of waking you up from 6AM and onwards. Overall, worth checking out!

As a fisherman it’s always a little nerve racking first getting to a airbnb, will there be parking? Will it be easy to get in and out of with a boat? This place was awesome, it fit my lifted truck and 21’ bass boat well, they had a cord for me to use, when I got there the house was spotless and even had some snacks that I took on the water with me that were much appreciated! Will certainly stay again if I’m going to Norman
