Waterfront holiday rentals in Lower Lough Erne

A wonderful warm welcome from Mona , Charlie and the two dogs. Lovely peaceful spot on the headland with views of the sea. We were supplied with lots of great home baked treats, cakes and bread along with eggs, milk, porridge and lots more. The kitchen was so well stocked and it was such a lovely spot that we ate in rather than pop into Killybegs. Mona had lots of recommendations of places to visit and local walks, she even offered to lend me a wetsuit if I wanted to go for a swim and there was a dry robe in the wardrobe for guests use. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom modern and spacious. We sat outside in the garden both evenings, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and being entertained by Bingo and Adi. Definitely one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in and hope to return soon.

John has a fabulous place! A very spacious 2 bed apartment, with stunning views of the sea! The place had everything we needed and very thoughtful instructions. Definitely recommend for a perfect getaway.

I haven’t used Airbnb much after a bad experience but when Karen’s apartment came up on a search even though it wasn’t in our first choice location this being in Carrick on Shannon & we were looking for Sligo, I knew it would be ideal for our group & it was. The apartment was very clean & had everything you could want for both a weekend & much longer stay. Waking up overlooking the marina was a big plus. It was in a very convenient location being next door to a decent supermarket, cinema, restaurant, cafe, pub & only a 5 min walk to town. The town of Carrick on Shannon has so many great pubs & restaurants for a great night out it can’t be beaten. Karen the host was very flexible on check in times, extremely friendly & helpful with a wealth of knowledge of the area & some great recommendations. I will definitely be looking to book this place again & our group all agreed it was the best Airbnb any of us have stayed in. Thanks again Karen

This really is a hidden gem. Beautiful, compact, comfortable apartment. Every requirement catered for, lovely welcome snacks, tea/coffee, juices, excellent thoughtful host. I can't recommend highly enough. we will be back.

Excellent place to stay! The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Marina really has thought of everything. Even left us milk, cake and Easter eggs for the kids. Such thoughtful touches! The view is just amazing! It's so cosy too. A home away from home! Very responsive host and easy check in. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Outstanding view from the living room window, so modern, clean and spacious. Walking distance to the town and right facing the funfair and beach, the apartment was overall beautiful so clean and fresh, Ian was a lovely host and very easy to communicate with. Will definitely be recommending to others and will 100% be back thank you Ian for a wonderful stay!

Lovely modern apartment in a great location in the town. Easy walking distance of local pubs and restuarants. Good base for visiting all the nearny attractions. Great time had and would happily stay again Robert and Susanne

It as a bit of a mad one heading up to the edge of the country for just one night, but we did, and we loved it. Accomodation was spot on, exactly as described. We didn't just have the most magnificent sea views, we were practically IN the sea! Fresh air, fabulous walks, all the home comforts, and plenty to see in the surrounding area. Thank you.

Joelene and Nick were great hosts, their cottage was in an stunning location, close to both Enniskillen and Kesh. We had an amazing stay! It was a tranquil weekend on the waters edge. Only thing I’d say is just be prepared for the £50 mooring fee for the 3 nights if you bring a boat

We had an amazing stay at Caroline and Patrick's! Even though the weather wasn't great, there was so much for us and the kids to do! The pool was fantastic, basketball, tennis, etc- something for all of us. The house was spotless and we had everything we needed. The bed linen was so soft and the mattresses very comfortable. The indoor fire was also very special. We were so grateful for our stay, and can't wait to visit again! Simply can't recommend enough!

We booked Gail's place for a 3 night stay. Arriving, we were welcomed by a large driveway and very large pond/lake. The grounds were well maintained! The house is private, and once inside, we could see how well Looked after the home was. It was spotless, it had everything we could ever have needed, and more! Kids loved it too, being able to run around outside, and being a stones throw from Irvine castle we took a lovely walk there too. Gail was very helpful, and recommended nearby resteraunts, takeaways, shops and things to do in local towns that might have interested us. I honestly can't think of anything that could have made the stay better, it was great for us as a family. Spacious, yet cosy.

Great place to stay, beach is just in front with views from rooms and kitchen. The beach also felt like the private one. Amazing place nearby to explore. Place is worth each penny. Host is also great and welcoming.

James place was magical. The view from it was stunning. The kitchen was spotless and well equipped and the entire house was spotless. We would definitely stay there again.

Honestly one of the best places we've ever stayed. The pictures couldn't do it justice. Lisa has made the place so welcoming and homey, the grounds/surroundings are beautiful and the house is wonderfully designed (the dual aspect living room is gorgeous). Lisa left lots of information along with a welcome basket and answered any questions quickly. We'd definitely go back.

We as a party of 15 all had a fabulous stay. Plenty to do in and around house. No one was bored and there was plenty of laughs had. The place was spotless and had everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Lovely friendly warm greeting with a lovely welcome gift. Nick was great, on hand bringing firewood and setting hot tub up. Go ahead book it....you will not be disappointed 😉

What a find. this apartment is very central and you can walk everywhere in the town from it. the apartment is really big and well laid out. everything was spotless. there were lots of nice touches like lots of cold bottled water in the fridge, some snacks on the counter, and nice furnishings. we were a big group but it was a great size for the 7 of us. I highly recommend this place and I'd love to come back again.

We loved staying at ‘The Loft’. It was tastefully decorated, spotless, peaceful, awesome view with all kitchen amenities, great shower, handy washing machine/dryer and thoughtful goodies to eat & drink. Thank you Nicola!

We loved our stay the location is great you can easily walk to downtown Carrick and the pier is right across the street. The WiFi was reliable and fast and Chris was accommodating to our needs traveling with a baby. We noticed the bedroom near the street was a little noisy at times but it wasn’t a big deal. There is a little market downstairs that was great for grocery runs. We also loved driving 15 minutes to Lough Key park and Boyle Abby.

Perfect location in the centre of Killybegs. Very spacious apartment for a family to stay in. Mary stayed in touch to make sure everything was perfect for our stay and she also offered us a later check out, which was great. We will definitely go back again.

Great little place. There is a shop, butchers and pub next door and a direct bus from the train station to the apartment. Although it is also walkable - took me 25 minutes. Eileen was really helpful and popped in when I was struggling with the wi-fi (user error! I was using password instead of network key)

Lovely few days away made even better by a great apartment, in a very central location. It was as very well furnished and very clean and comfortable. Ann was a very good host who could be easily contacted when needed. She gave great advice too. I would recommend this very happily

We were in Knockvicar to research our family roots so Anne's place was perfect because we could access all the local graveyards/Leitrim Heritage Centre, Ballinamore, Drumshabo music festival etc. Anne was super-helpful but also respected our privacy. She was there if needed. Loved her spacious kitchen, comfortable beds, extras left in the fridge for us on a very late arrival from Cork, esp milk and tea. Plenty of supplies in the bathroom and the place was spotless. We had two very peaceful/quiet nights of sleep and really enjoyed our stay in Knockvicar. Thank u Anne

Fiona was a very responsive host and very quick to answer any queries. The apartment was amazing with stunning views out over the water. Was so well equipped with everything you would need for a stay. Very peaceful location yet close to carrick on shannon. So much to do in the area too. highly recommend for a stay
