It enjoys views of rural Fermanagh farmland and Cuilagh mountain. As it is on a private equestrian property it leads to the option of renting a stable and bringing your equine friend to enjoy Fermanagh on Horseback. It is a short distance from many tourist attractions, stairway to heaven, Marble Arch and others.

Traditional Irish Thatched Cottage

Delightful, listed, 250 year old thatch cottage named after the famous explorer Eduardo-Alfred Martel is famous for charting Marble Arch cave system. Local Folklore claims that Martel resided within this beautiful cottage in 1895 during his Caving adventures. Suitable for walkers, climbers & fishermen. The cottage is heated by oil and lovely range cooker. With an electric fire in the lounge. Please be aware that the cottage does not have WiFi or terrestrial tv, but has a tv and dvds.

Recently renovated and restored to a very high standard, the house is situated next to the former estate residence and compliments the extensive lawns and grounds. Located 1 mile from Dromore village and very central to both Enniskillen and Omagh. The location has ample parking and can accomodate horse lorries and campers. Finally, there is a Hot Tub at the House for guests to enjoy.

It comprises an open plan kitchen/dining room with a double sofa bed, bathroom, double bedroom and small single room ideal for kids.
