We had a truly wonderful stay at this cozy tiny house on an active farm in Deinze. From the moment we arrived, Davy and his wife made us feel so welcome — greeting us personally, giving us a tour, and even leaving a bottle of cava brut inside, which was such a sweet surprise! The tiny house itself is beautifully designed, peaceful, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing getaway. We loved the private sauna and waking up to views of the fields, cows, sheep, and chickens right outside. Throughout our stay, Davy was always responsive whenever we had a question, yet also gave us full privacy to enjoy our time. We also spotted ducks, goats, and some adorable dogs — the whole setting felt like a dream for animal lovers and anyone looking to slow down and unwind. They even provided a guidebook with thoughtful recommendations for the area and tips about the tiny house, which was super helpful. This place is a hidden gem. I highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape in nature?

It was a really nice place and we felt very well. It is a beautiful and special house with a wonderful garden and a fantastic kitchen with a view over the green garden and open space to the ceiling. The only thing we missed out on was a high chair for the little one and a baby bed. And one of the bedrooms had only access through the bathroom that also at one side (to the floor and open staircase) was closed with only a curtain so it would perhaps not be a place to visit for friends- mor suitable for families.

Das Appartement war in einem tip top Zustand, sehr sauber, und die Lage perfekt für einen Ausflug nach Gent. Wir hatten Fahrräder dabei und konnten diese in einem Schuppen unterbringen. Alice war bei Fragen immer erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine richtig gute Zeit und kommen gern wieder.

En un mot : magnifique ! Tout fut absoluement parfait pour notre escapade en Belgique, le chalet était juste idéal pour nous, si spacieux, décoré avec beaucoup de goût, très propre (sentait extrêmement bon), parfaitement équipé, avec une jolie terrasse entourée de verdure ! Merci beaucoup, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Fantastisch verblijf, makkelijk bereikbaar, netjes en huiselijk, super vriendelijke host! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!!

Alles klopte met de beschrijving! Wij waren met ons gezin, 8 volwassenen, voor 3 nachten in het grote huis. Alles zag er superstrak, schoon en verzorgd, gezellig en netjes uit. Hele mooie grote slaapkamers verdeeld over de 2 verdiepingen, met beide een badkamer en wc. Aan de achterzijde vrij uitzicht met een gezellige tuin en goed tuinmeubilair. De “bonus” was wel de poolkamer, superleuk! Binnen 2 minuten bij een mooie Spar met een groot assortiment. En natuurlijk brugge en Gent op korte rijafstand. Ellen reageerde supersnel op onze vragen met uitgebreide antwoorden. Wij waren in een heel warm weekend maar met de airco’s hadden we binnen geen enkele reden tot klagen. Als ik tenslotte toch 1 “aandachtspuntje” mag geven is het ontbreken van zonwering of parasol aan de achterzijde. Eerlijkheidshalve moet ik zeggen dat wij hier ook geen vraag over gesteld, dus misschien lag hij wel ergens.

An incredibly tranquil and beautifully designed home with a focus on letting light flood through the property to create warmth throughout every room, situated only 15 minutes away from Gent. Our host was responsive and helpful in every aspect and we had a wonderful time. A comfortable couch dominates the living room with the most incredible view to the back garden and when it rains the water cascades into a small pool from the roof creating a mesmerising water feature. The master bedroom is adorned with a massive bed for two and his-and-her sinks and a balcony that overlooks the front door. Honestly, one of the best features might be Pip, a truly adorable and affectionate cat. We were welcome in their home and we were given clear instructions on everything from recycling to where we could find the nearest patisserie. We can’t thank our host enough for being a shining example of Belgian kindness and hospitality.
