“Kelly and Brad were really good host. Their place is welcoming, cozy, clean, and with special touches. Kelly was really good a communicating about the error that the GPS will to get to the house, so she sent us a text explaining how to get there. She had some snacks and juices for us. I loved that her place was pet friendly, our dogs had they little yard to go out to. There was only a little miscommunication, they turned off the heater by mistake, so we got a bit cold the first night. She apologize the next morning and our second night was perfectly warm. I would definitely stay again in her house which I have to mention too, it has a beautiful view!!!”
This newly renovated one bedroom apartment is in the heart of historic downtown Gordonsville. No box stores here. Just quaint shops and restaurants. The apartment is on Main Street nestled in the middle of boutique shops and brick sidewalks with Monticello, Montpelier, the University of Virginia, Shenandoah National Park, local vineyards and many historic sites near by. This is a private second story apartment above a local business with a separate entrance and key-less entry.
“This place is perfect. A great little place for a quiet getaway. Martha is an amazing host. The apartment lacks nothing in amenities, style and comfort. Everywhere you look there is a thoughtful “extra” that goes above and beyond. It has everything you forgot to pack and then some! We’ll definitely stay here again. Loved it, and love this little town.”

“This stay was amazing. The boat is clean, quiet, and cozy. The private campsite with the fire pit and kayak access into the lake kept us busy. Mike, Ashleigh and their three children all work hard to create and maintain a wonderful setting. We walked trails, saw little wildlife critters, birds and many butterflies. The three local ducks were my favorite part. The boat has so much character both inside and out. As far as hosts, Mike and Ashleigh are genuinely happy to host people in their beautiful corner of the world. This shows through in their kindness and also their availability and quick response time if you need anything. I cannot wait to go back!”
