Situated just 30 minutes from Edinburgh, 40 minutes from Glasgow by car and within easy reach of the Scottish Borders, the cottage makes the perfect base for exploring. Yet, despite its proximity to these key tourist attractions, the accommodation enjoys a quiet, rural location in South Lanarkshire, close to Biggar and Lanark.

Romantic Medieval Castle
Barns Tower is an authentic medieval mini castle with roaring log fires and all modern comforts. The Tower is located in a beautiful rural setting on the River Tweed and is an ideal location for exploring the Scottish Borders. Peebles is nearby with great amenities and there’s heavenly walks right from the door. Please be aware that The Tower is located at the end of a rural track and due care should be taken with speed and approach. The Tower is arranged over 4 floors with steep staircases.

Some of the furniture has been made from beech and cedar from our farm. With view across the River Earn and surrounding hills, this is a perfect place to come, explore, unwind and relax.
