Shed End, in 18th century Lothersdale Mill

In the Weaving Shed of an attractive former textile mill, on the Pennine Way in North Yorkshire. The small rural valley of Lothersdale is five miles from Skipton and on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We offer bikes, many country walks, and the excellent water comes from an aquifer (no chemical treatment). Popular tourist towns of Skipton and Haworth are nearby. * Shed End and my other place, The Workshop, are in the same building.

The village has a great pub, cafe and community shop with locally sourced & eco-friendly produce. Bronte Country, Pendle Hill and Skipton (the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales) are under half an hour drive away. Off road parking, peaceful garden with superb views A welcome pack of milk, bread, butter & jams, cereals, tea, coffee provided.

We're close to Skipton, Malham, The Yorkshire Dales & Ribble Valley. Within 1 hour you can be in Leeds, Bradford, Blackpool or The South Lakes. There's so much for families to do when you stay with us.

Lakeside Hideaway

The Hideaway is a very unique little cabin, a bit back to basics with a few treats thrown in. its a 2 adults only accommodation. You have your own private fenced off area containing a BBQ/firepit. Inside you will find a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a toaster, a wonderful log burning stove and even a complimentary bottle of Prosecco to welcome you. ONE well behaved SMALL dog can stay too in the little 7ft x 11ft cabin. (certain rules apply, please message us to discuss).

Swallows Nest was newly opened in Oct '22 and renovated to a very high standard. It is nestled in the quiet hamlet of Thorlby, just a short distance from the market town of Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales. Come and take in the stunning views on your doorstep, watch the many garden birds visiting the feeder as you sit and have your morning coffee on the patio. The only thing you can hear is 'quiet'. The hardest thing you will have to do is decide what you want to see or do.
