Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lorain County

This is the second time I have stayed in Robert's house. He is a fabulous host. He has thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. A gorgeous house with a wonderful yard. Thank you, Robert!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Kathryn’s place. Very comfortable and private. We loved the retro vibe. There are train tracks close but the trains didn’t bother us at all. Our 2 dogs especially loved exploring the huge yard. Before we got there Kathryn messaged me to see if we wanted her to turn on any lights for us, that was thoughtful. At the house there is information on the history of the house and property and also suggested restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.

We had an 80th birthday weekend for my mom at the home. The home was the perfect size for our group of 8 adults and 4 children. The kitchen and dining area's were spacious and well equipped. The home had children's books and toys which was a nice touch. Marcus was very responsive and courteous every time we reached out to him with questions, before and after the stay.

It was wonderful! We choose to stay here for a weekend getaway for our one year olds birthday. Loved how peaceful and safe the area made us feel. Felt like home from the time we arrived. House had all the amenities and more. Truly a beautiful home away from home .

We had a nice stay! The house is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything we needed. The layout upstairs is a bit odd—2 bathrooms right across from each other and neither next to the master bedroom—but not a big deal. I would definitely stay here again.

What an outstanding first time Airbnb experience for my parents who are in their 80's and my younger sister that is disabled & wheelchair bound. Stephanie's home was perfect for their needs. It was beyond our expectations from the cleanliness of the entire home to the decor. You felt right at home as soon as you entered. Such a great place… we love the porch…with a relaxing view. We enjoyed the visitors who came to eat the food left for them…deer, rabbits, a real healthy groundhog, and beautiful birds. It’s a great location the turnpike isn’t far, making it easy for us to visit family. Such great restaurants (Old Town Pizza and Ziggys), and shops in Amherst. Shopping and grocery stores close by. Mark and Sue’s place is so clean, with big rooms, comfortable beds, and a huge kitchen with anything you would need. This was our second stay and we will definitely be back!

We were looking for a staycation away from home for a large group and this Property matched our requirements. Best part, unlike other Airnbnb properties where convertible couch beds or smaller size beds are listed, this one has 6 bedrooms with double/queen or king size beds in each. Kitchens were well stocked. And the host ( a team instead of a single person) was responsive and even had a emergency number listed in for quicker response than chat messages.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The only thing that I would caution people about is that it’s not designed for tall or large people. (The shower stall, for example, is very small.) Otherwise, I would recommend it, especially if you want to spend time on campus.

Heather’s place was exactly as described in the listing and she was a spectacular host. She was very responsive to messages and accommodating to us and our three dogs. They loved being able to come on this trip with us. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to travel with their furry companions. Great host offering a place with a great value. An absolutely beautiful place! So spacious! A great place to hang out with family. Host is very responsive and polite.

The place was sweet and surprisingly roomy. Easy walk to all of Oberlin. Willie the host was friendly and responsive. The wireless was down for a little while and he called his internet service immediately. Not only was the problem solved, but Willie gave me a partial refund before I asked. I will stay here again!

This was an absolutely beautiful location, and the inside of the Airbnb was completely charming, the view from the foyer looking out one of the bedroom windows was full lake and it filled me with a sense of peace that I’ve been looking for for a while. I cannot wait to stay here again, and this may become my family’s meeting point between Michigan and Virginia!

Love staying at this place. Stay there every time I am in town. Easy check in & great, great location. Walking distance to everywhere in downtown Amherst. We always feel very comfortable staying there. Thank you Melissa.
