As they you can't tell a book by its cover. The cabins were built in 1937 and are in the process being painted and other improvements. But once you step inside you will be amazed at the detail of the interior. There are so many unique things that it makes staying there and experience. It is not your plain hotel room but an adventure. If you a person looking for something different this is the place to stay. Geralyne is wonderful host

This was an ideal base for cycling and sampling the great wines of the Similkameen and nearby south Okanagan. We made good use of the well-equipped kitchen and especially enjoyed the peaceful outdoor seating and dining areas, where we enjoyed the sunsets, meadowlarks and the two lovable resident dogs. Our hosts were unobtrusive but very responsive when needed (as when we accidentally locked ourselves out!) We would happily return here.
