Great place for a relaxing weekend getaway. Plenty of parking, also easy commute to Newcastle/Sunderland/Durham.

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a lovely break. The position of the caravan overlooking the sea is one of the best on the site and it had everything we needed. We’d very happily go back for another stay.

Had a lovely stay at Tumbler Rocks. The house suited our group size and young children perfectly. It was very comfortable, clean and cosy with high chairs, stair gates and a cot. The location was great too with Seahouses a short distance on foot (and stunning views along the way!) There were great options of things to do further afield too!

We loved our stay at Signal House. House is absolutely beautiful. It’s in such a lovely location with fantastic views along the coastline. Easy to walk into Amble or along coastal path in both directions. House amazing, spotlessly clean. We hope to come back some time. Thankyou Tracey for a great stay x

The barn was beautiful and full of little touches. Pam was an excellent host and was very friendly. She even baked us shortbread whilst we were there! We loved the peace and quiet yet we could get to Alnwick within 10 minutes. A fantastic break. Pam has put together a folder with recommendations for food and drink and this was especially useful. Would love to stay again.

We stayed for a week and would definitely recommend to come and stay here It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped .The beds were so comfy and had pure white bedlinen .The kitchen had everything that you could need and we enjoyed looking out at the view from upstairs at different times of the day.Alnmouth has some lovely restaurants and a couple of lovely cosy pubs and is well worth a visit. If you need a place to chill out this it ,we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return one day .

Lovely few days at Gail's. Everything was good and very clean. It's a great base for exploring the Northumberland coast. We had a fab visit to Warkworth Castle which was an easy walk from the house. Morrisons is only a 5 minute walk away and plenty of bars and eateries on the doorstep.

We had a lovely stay at Hall Yard Cottage, the location was in a lovely village, friendly neighbours and great walks on the doorstep. The hosts left some welcome goodies which were much appreciated. The only feedback we have is that it wasn’t mentioned where we could park in the information pack until one of the neighbours told us. The cottage was very clean, dog friendly and we will definitely return.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we needed! the views were absolutely beautiful and the area was peaceful and relaxing. The welcome guide was so indepth and had recommendations for everything! Would definitely come back again!

Great location. A really cosy country retreat. Very well appointed kitchen...equipped for real cooking! Very responsive hosts before & during our stay. Lots of helpful pre-visit information supplied, especially good places to eat like the Fish Shack at Amble & The Angler's Arms in Weldon - both dog and dog owner friendly!

Excellent place to stay whilst working locally. Sparkling clean, comfortable and responsive host. Would without doubt look to book again when next in the area.

Great base for exploring Northumberland. would recommend the Wednesday quiz or the Thursday bingo (bingo also on sundays) at the Masons Arms which is a 2 minute walk from the house. the landlord, landlady and locals were all really welcoming and friendly.

We had not been to the area before but were delighted with the accommodation and with Cullercoats. The cottage was stylish and luxurious, ticking all the boxes for a really comfortable bed, great shower, well-equipped, excellent kitchen and everything you needed for a short stay or a longer one. The upstairs ensuite bedroom had a lovely sea view and was really peaceful. The downstairs double room and separate bathroom were practical as we had family visiting. The neighbourhood was quiet and friendly and the location was superb - the cottage was minutes from the beach, a small supermarket and the Metro. You could walk from the door into Whitley Bay or Tynemouth. The beach was excellent and we swam in the sea. The coastal pathway between Whitley Bay and North Shields with its separate cycle lanes will be a wonderful asset and parts of it are already completed. We settled in really well and very quickly and were a bit sad to leave. Thank you to Vikki.

A wonderful short break. The cottage is beautifully designed, with gorgeous furnishings and decor, and has everything you need, as well as being spotlessly clean. All the little details are lovely. The shower is amazing, the sofa very comfy, and the fire looked tempting but we didn't need it (sadly!), as the cosy underfloor heating kept us lovely and warm. The setting is peaceful, with a view of the private garden from the kitchen, and the walled garden is very special. We enjoyed trips to the lovely Northumberland coast, about a 30-40 minute drive away, as well as a walk from the door. This was one of the loveliest cottages we've ever stayed in, and we plan to return at some point.

Our 2nd visit. We come in may to visit beautiful Cragside and this perfect little hideaway is ideally located. Very clean, modern, comfortable space perfect for a couple exploring this amazing county. Nice size garden and log burner to use. Said we would come back and we did and we will again. If you're looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to stay, this is it! The cottage is in a fabulous location, with a sea view and plenty of space to sit outside. We were lucky with the weather, but if it's not so good there is a cosy sitting area inside. The beds are also really comfortable. All in all, definitely to be recommended.

Excellent accomodation - would strongly recommend for any couple staying in Northumberland Coast. Extremly clean and well - equipped and bigger than we expected.

Enjoyed our stay in Alnwick! Great location to enjoy the main attractions and a comfy sofa to rest after a long day. We're both 6 foot so found the bed a little small but it was as advertised.

A fantastic cottage, in a very quiet position, overlooking a beautiful field with sheep with hares! Minutes from three pubs, local shops and a supermarket. We recommend the Black Swan for a warm Northumberland welcome and the fish and shop which is open at the weekend. Masses to do in the area, or just stay put and enjoy the peace and views! Easy access to the A1 to travel up and down the coast. Rob was a fantastic host with an excellent guide book for the area. The cottage was immaculately clean, spacious with comfy beds and an outdoor sitting area. (parking for 1 car next to the cottage)

Chose to stay here as a short break with my dad, who’s 91, as it was all on the one level. It was really great for him and helped him enjoy his time there. The accommodation is nicely set back and private, with lovely greenery all around. Easy walk to the store, bakery, micro pub and lovely country pub. Rosemary was super friendly and helpful throughout. Would recommend to anyone.
