Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

We are always available from the moment of arrival until departure, also to recommend the most exclusive tours and lake activities Brienno is an ancient and unspoiled Celtic village. Come and experience its portals, arcades and stone pavements embraced by the lake and green mountains. The silence here can be surreal, and will accompany you on a journey back in time. Bus lines C10/20 that depart every hour or so both to the upper lake and to Como. Boat trip on Sunday morning with return in the evening after sailing across the lake. From the village, you can climb to the mountains of Brienno with the characteristic farms (which can also be visited on request) or, for good hikers, you can go further to reach Alpe Comana and Schignano, also passing through the "Scala Santa" on a very steep mule track. Every morning in front of the Church (from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. from Monday to Thursday) you can buy basic food items from Davide, a merchant who with his mobile store offers typical products of Lake Como and Lombard culture such as cold cuts, bread and cheese. You can also buy fruit and vegetables on Mondays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Fridays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Just 10 minutes by car you can find well-stocked supermarkets. 2 km away towards Argegno you can eat in a renowned Lake Como restaurant called "Il crotto dei Platani" with veranda and garden on the lake. Starting in August, the Bar/Restaurant/Pizzeria will also open right in the center of Brienno, within walking distance of the apartment.

THE VILLAGE - Como Lake

The VILLAGE consists of three ancient and luxurious houses, dating back to the 1600s. They are all independent houses. One is the home of the only couple of guests, one is the home of the owners and the last is the holistic massage studio. The garden, swimming pool, hot tub, infrared sauna and woods are for the exclusive use of the two guests only. All surrounded by nature. Luca and Marina live in the VILLAGE, but do not use the amenities. The property is not suitable for children.
