Enjoy a relaxing holiday in the countryside – in a UNESCO biosphere reserve, close to the medieval town of Stege, near the water and surrounded by nature. We are a family consisting of a Danish-Japanese couple, two dogs, two cats, sheep, running ducks and chickens. We care about organic farming and sustainability, and we love growing our own vegetables and herbs in the garden. "Farm to table" Breakfast (Japanese or Danish) can be ordered no later than 4 pm the day before. Breakfast is not included in the price and is paid on site with either MobilePay or cash.

The Garden House

At Søllestedgaard Estate, in the courtyard right next to the main building, is the steward's residence, one wing of which has long served as the garden house, which is now being rented out. The garden house is a lovely apartment on 2 levels with a view of the moat and direct access to the terrace. The apartment sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms. The rental property is located on Lolland in the station town of Søllested, right between Nakskov and Maribo.

The Plantation House at Christianssæde

'Plantagehuset' is a former forester's residence for the Christianssæde estate, beautifully located along the forest road in Christianssædeskoven, Lolland-Falster's largest forest and located in the middle of beautiful Lolland. Here you will find peace and quiet, no light pollution - and you are close to the sounds of the forest and have the opportunity for authentic animal experiences during your walks on the forest's network of roads and paths.

The guest house is part of my main property, so I’m always available to help with any questions or issues that may arise. This unique home, an old mission house from 1912, has its very own ecclesiastical style. The guest apartment has its own entrance. This includes one large room with its own kitchen and bathroom. The apartment is downstairs in the house. The host family lives on the 1st floor upstairs. The apartment has a double bed and can accommodate two guests.
