This is a gem. Amboise itself is a quaint and beautiful town, and Guillaume and Julia’s place is nestled right in the middle of it. A several minute walk from shops, the local chateau, and many restaurants. Although we were a stones throw to the center of the action, it was very quiet and private. Breakfast is a must. It consisted of fresh bread and croissants, meats, cheeses, fruits and nuts, yogurt, and hard boiled eggs in a darling sitting room in the main house. Lovely. Merci, Guillaume and Julia— we will be back!!

We loved our stay in Anne’s chateau, beautiful building and in keeping furnishings, Anne greeted us with a warm and friendly welcome and was a lovely host. A comfortable and spacious room, with great views of the grounds, the garden and surroundings were peaceful and relaxing. Thank you

This is a beautiful stay. The rooms were clean and well decorated. The grounds are beautiful. The chateau is so charming. The swimming pool was fabulous! The proprietor was nice but not super welcoming like we had elsewhere. But definitely worth the stay.

The accommodation is well located for visiting the area, the house is quiet. We were able to enjoy the large garden and our little boy loved the outdoor games.

Great stay at Margaux's, we were a group of 15 friends. The space was clean, spacious, comfortable, and friendly. Equipped with everything you needed. Good communication with Margaux who was available if needed to answer our questions. Even though the owners have their home in the same courtyard, we had our privacy and independence completely. The accommodation is well located for visiting the area! We were able to adjust our checkout time for an additional cost. Recommended

I had a lovely stay at Marchand's. The place is very clean. The pool and outdoor kitchen are really beautiful. Would come back and recommend 1000%. The hosts are very nice and available.

The place is exactly as pictured but even more beautiful in real life: tastefully decorated, very well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. You feel at home there, for the better! The room is located in an 11th century building that the owner completely refurbished 3 years ago. Lovers of old stones, you are in the right place! The kitchen common to the different bedrooms as well as the garden give a breathtaking view of the Loir. It gives this place a lot of charm. The owners are very welcoming.

Very good location for this accommodation located in the heart of the old Chartres. The spaces available (kitchen, terrace, billiard room...) are very nice and the decor is superb! Only small hitch, the bathroom that would need to be redone... Despite everything, the accommodation remains welcoming and convenient.

I was looking for a simple, convenient accommodation close to Le Mans. I figured it out more than that. A rich human encounter, a calm time since I was alone, I felt at home with all the positive energy this place and its host has. An address to remember that I would love to come back to. Amazing enchanting place right in the heart of lovely Durtal. Agnes has created a wonderful experience for her guests. The house is very beautiful and sympathetic to nature, the garden with river view is very relaxing. Agnes is a wonderful host. So if you want to experience charm, warmth and stunning views of the castle you will enjoy this space . Highly recommended
