Rånäs School

Stay in the old teacher's residence in Rånäs School. There is plenty of room for outdoor activities. With only 30 meters to the lake and access to your own jetty and boat, it is easy to enjoy fishing or swimming. Tiled stove and wood stove are available. Some firewood is included, more can be purchased. The guest cleans, cleaning is not available for purchase. Bed linens are not included! Access to a boat (Eka) and canoe is included in the price. More information and instructions are located in the house. about 45 minutes by car to Idre and about 20 minutes to Särna.

It is about 30 minutes by car to Idrefjäll for skiing etc. Also visit Sweden's highest waterfall where you can also see the world's oldest trees, both of which are located in Fulufjället with fantastic hiking trails in wonderful nature.

The cottage village consists of 7 cozy, fully-equipped cottages and 1 overnight cottage. 500 meters from the cottage village is the swimming area Hemsjön, with a dock, seating areas and playground. Close to Hamra National Park and fishing waters.
