Monthly Rentals in Lofou

Fabulous environment, the house is private, pristine, in one of our favorite villages that we visited, very walkable. The rooms were beautiful as represented in the pictures. The kitchen was very large and very well-equipped. A lovely arched hallway leads to the very large living room with wood-burning fireplace (wood for 1 night was provided, possibly more but we didn't ask). We arrived in the evening and the owners arrived at the same time to meet us and give us a tour, let us know how to lock the doors. They gave us history of the home and ideas of what to do in the area, where to eat, etc. They were absolutely lovely! The patio was very large, perfect for dining, morning coffee, hanging out in general. This was one of our favorite vacation rentals ever - perfection!!

We loved our stay at Symela's Nest. It completely met our needs, we especially loved having our breakfast on the roof terrace. Communicating with Vagelis and Maria was super easy and they were so kind and helpful in all of their messages. We would have loved to have met them in person to thank them for everything. For us Anogyra was the perfect base to explore the Troodos mountains and the coastal area. We loved, that it was so small and quiet and the people in the village were really friendly. If we come back one day, we would definitely stay at Symela's Nest again.

Morfo House is absolutely charming, lovely, peaceful, and rich with the heritage of the man who restored the house himself 30 years ago. I had the honor of hearing about Andreas’ family history in their hometown of Morfo. The house is filled with relics and crafts that belonged to his lineage, and many beautiful, original paintings by Andreas! Andreas went above and beyond to make sure I felt taken care of, he left some Cypriot food and beverages for me and even provided me with a guidebook for the area. Andreas is one of the kindest souls I’ve come across in my 3 months of backpacking. His generosity and hard work is reflected in the beautiful Morfo House! The village is quiet and peaceful, but I had the pleasure of meeting a few of its inhabitants. Don’t skip walking around the village. There are a couple short hikes from the village. Everything else you could need is just a 10-15 minute drive away in any direction.

We really like this apartment and Lofou village, it were very cozy. Cleos was really friendly and responded quickly. Apartment has some stuff for cooking and making coffee. Wi-Fi worked well. It was a bit noisy at night, if you don't sleep well, it's better to take headphones or earplugs. We were there at holidays and Google Maps said all taverns are close, but it wasn't true, everything was working. We liked KAMARES Tavern, all dishes was precious. There are a big parking near by apartment, the village were crowded because of holidays, but there were a lot of space to leave a car. We also found a map of the hiking trail and we are going to take a walk next time. It was really nice weekends, we will definitely come back <3
