Holiday rentals with a patio in Loch Shiel

Dorothy was a fantastic host and the place was perfect- amazing views, spotless, and very spacious. Dorothy gave suggestions early on about booking restaurants and her recommendations were spot on! Definitely would go back!

Great apartment, and only 5-10 minute walk to town. Mary was always responsive, and place was very clean. Also, great view from the apartment.

Tout s’est parfaitement déroulé chez Sarah. Logement impeccable tant au niveau de la propreté que de la disposition des pièces et l’emplacement. La salle principale avec la cuisine était très grande et très joliment décorée avec un poêle à bois. Très agréable pour réchauffer la pièce après de grandes balades dans les environs. Il y avait absolument tout pour bien faire la cuisine. Rien ne manquait. Sarah est une personne charmante et très disponible avec qui la communication est très facile. L’appartement correspond exactement à la description sur le site. Il y a très franchement aucun point négatif, je recommande vivement le logement de Sarah. Les vues de l’appartement sur le loch donne l’impression de vivre sur un bateau. Allez-y, vous ne serez pas déçu. C’est de loin le plus beau et le plus confortable que nous avons eu lors de notre roadtrip de 15 jours en Écosse.

We enjoyed our stay at Brain and Helen's place. What a beautiful house on Nature's doorstep. House is beautifully decorated and had all that we needed. Excelent location in a quite little town. Brain and Helen are the best hosts! We will visit them again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is cozy and very clean. The kitchen is very well-equipped and everything is within short walking distance from the centre. We would happily return.

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation! The interior was modern, stylish and very comfortable. Check-in was smooth and made by ourselfs which we really appreciated after a long journey. Especially the thoughtful welcome was really nice – soft music playing and dimmed lights created an incredibly cozy and inviting atmosphere as we arrived. That shows us, that a lot of care has gone into making guests feel at home. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and comfortable stay, and we would definitely come back ourselves!

The Garden Cottage and surrounding area is perfection. It felt like living in a day dream. We had everything we needed, the hot tub was amazing. The views and local markets were excellent. We loved every minute. Truly a dream.

The place was beautiful and immaculate. It was comfortable and in a good location. Ryan and Sarah were accessible and quick to respond to questions. We had a great time and would go back again!

Uns hat das Haus sehr gut gefallen und wir haben uns gleich wie zuhause gefühlt. Es ist sehr schön in der Natur gelegen und ruhig. Mit dem Auto kommt man gut zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Unser Lieblingsplatz war draussen auf der kleinen Terasse, mit der schönen Aussicht und dem rauschen des Baches. Wir würden die Unterkunft definitiv weiter empfehlen.

A truly royal vacation 8 of us just enjoyed a great time in this magical place. I am wheelchair bound so it was great being on one level. The accessible shower was also great. The place is just like the pictures. Very beautiful. We were blessed with good weather a few days we were there and a number of our party braved the loch. It was an experience and quite cold but worth it. It’s very remote and you have to travel about 2 miles on a bumpy dirt track to get to the house, but it’s part of the appeal. The views are just awesome. From the house there are trails and you can hike up high hills. If not high enough Ben Nevis is a drive away and some of us I did the climb. Overall a memorable holiday and we would love to come again.

Convenient location right on the A82. Beautiful view of the lake across the street and some cute horses and goats in the pasture behind the house. House interior is renovated and modern with all the amenities. Reasonably priced. Host responds quickly to messages. Central tourist location. In 3 days we toured Ben Nevis distillery and mountain gondola, scenic drive to Glenfinnan Harry Potter viaduct train and Mallaig for local seafood and finally drove to Loch Ness Centre museum and Jacobite lake cruise. Fabulous holiday.

We felt welcomed into the space as soon as we walked in. The home was clean, had some games/puzzles to keep us entertained outside of screen time and was close to the areas of interest we had for our trip. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Siâns house was beautifully decorated, and a perfect place to stay. Close to Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle, co-op groceries and a lovely pizza place. We really appreciated the wash machine!

The home was spotless and had everything that we needed. Carly had milk in the fridge as well as cookies to enjoy. There is a hiking path around the corner that leads to a waterfall and overlook of the town and surrounding mountains. The town was quiet, and the people so kind! I recommend.

Die Unterkunft ist einfach perfekt! Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Es ist sehr sauber und die Ausstattung sehr hochwertig. Das Bett ist unfassbar bequem. Wir hatten so eine tolle Zeit bei Marcus. Auch die Umgebung ist traumhaft und es gibt viel zu erkunden. Außerdem (und das ist das schönste) ist Marcus einer der freundlichsten Menschen, die man sich vorstellen kann. Er und seine Frau haben uns so herzlich empfangen, dass wir uns mehr als wohl gefühlt haben. Wir kommen definitiv wieder, wenn wir nach Schottland kommen! Vielen Dank Markus! Es war wirklich ein Traum : )

Stayed at Lag Nam Muc as base for our Isle of Skye adventures and everything went well. Great location that was easy to find and very walkable to the Portree shops and restaurants. Rachel reached out well before our stay to prepare us for need for restaurant reservations and this was very helpful. Place was comfortable and had everything we needed. Would stay again next time I visit.

We stayed more than a week and were absolutely in love with this place and what Undine and John made out of it! The apartment is lovingly furnished with an eye for details and very cozy. Everything was well equipped for home cooked meals. It is the perfect location to explore the area around Oban and Glencoe, which Undine gave perfekt recommendations for trips. We enjoyed the tranquility of the place and the views even on rainy days. If you come by car (car rental flitdrive in Oban) and are open for self catering this is a 11 out of 10 for a holiday!

This was a fantastic place to stay - a haven at the end of a busy day. Much thought has been put into extra touches - treats in the fridge and cupboards, dressing gowns, high quality linen - and the outlook over Loch Lada is beautiful. The well equipped kitchen lends itself to cooking in. The appliances are new and we appreciated the supplies of washing powder and dishwasher tabs. We loved everything about this place!

We had a great stay at the Lomond Castle. It had everything we needed, and was quite peaceful. It is close to one outstanding restaurant, Duck Bay Hotel. We ate there twice! To get to sights and biking trails, it was a short drive. Overall, it was a lovely stay.

Andrea’s accommodation was spotless, tastefully decorated and was fully equipped with everything we needed. The location was convenient and easily accessible. We had a great stay and would highly recommend.

Wij werden warm welkom geheten door Cathy. Die brood en shortbread en jam voor ons had klaarliggen. Die zij zelf had gemaakt😋. De verhuurders waren makkelijk bereikbaar als wij zij nodig hadden. In de flat was alles aanwezig wat wij nodig hadden en wij kregen duidelijke instructies over het functioneren van het apparatuur Verder hadden wij een fantastisch uitzicht op Loch Long en de bergen. Prachtige tuin aanwezig en terras met prachtige planten. En vooral niet te vergeten een mooie op 5 minuten loopafstand om de hond uit te laten. Dit is een plek die wij zeker zullen boeken mochten wij weer eens de hooglanden bezoeken.😃
