Waterfront holiday rentals in Loch Lomond

Centrally located, walking distance from the pier with private parking. Hard to find a better spot in Oban. Very clean, very well-equipped, large enough and comfortable for 4 people. The kitchen is great and there is a bit of a view on the harbour. Lorraine is an attentive host and very responsive. A very comfortable and uncomplicated stay. Would highly recommend.

This apartment was perfect for my son and I to stay for 5 nights while he played a golf competition in West Kilbride. Very close to Largs and Eleanor left some nice restaurant recommendations. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again. I would highly recommend this beautiful apartment.

My husband and I were heading on a an adventure over to the outer Hebrides and needed somewhere to stay the night before in Oban. We found this perfect little flat overlooking the bay with fantastic views. The host Elizabeth was fantastic with her prompt contact and the details she provided. The flat was exactly as described and exceptionally clean and although we didn’t use most of the facilities, has everything one would need for cooking and staying for two people. The breakfast basket was a lovely touch. If I return to Oban I would 100% select this place if possible. Thank you.

Fab location for access to Sse Hydro and Ovo, easy walk to and from gig.. Lovely balcony area overlooking the clyde. I would not hesitate to book again for next concert.

Apartment was great, views of the firth and it's bridges stunning. Short walk to the great pubs and restaurants.

Beautiful flat in a perfect location with stunning views! the flat was spacious for me, my mum and my sister to share, with everything we needed. Claudio met us at the flat to let us in, show us around and even brought us a little bag of groceries to get us started for the weekend! The location is great for getting around Largs and anywhere you need to drive to. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone visiting Largs. Thank you Claudio!

Robert's place is in the perfect location for exploring Oban and the surrounding areas! It's a lovely apartment, with excellent views, and plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Very easy to get to from the train, and Robert was a delightful host. Would definitely recommend!

Cragowlet was a beautiful stay with big and beautiful rooms. Very specious and well-equipped kitchen and bathroom which is always a big plus. Brian as a host was wonderful! Helpful and ready to give guidence and advice for local activities if we needed it. Cragowlet was beautiful and we definitely want to go back if we're in the area again. Couldn't recommend more! 👌

Kim’s house was magical, it’s one of the best places a ever been. Kim communicated really nicely with us. The house was perfect and the views espectacular 😍

The promise of the view was fabulous and we were not disappointed. If you are looking for a peaceful and secluded place, this is the place. It is not perfectly placed if you are looking for tourist places to visit but the place is enough for itself for a few nights and it is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the calm. The bedrooms and living rooms are very beautiful and well decorated. Thank you for providing a beautiful home like this.

We booked relatively last minute to stay with Michelle, yet we were catered for above and beyond. The wonderful little touches of cheese and biscuits, milk and juice, not to mention the lovely easter treats. We felt very much at home and extremely comfortable in the house, it is so homely. The location is superb as you can walk everywhere, we didnt use the car once from arriving to leaving. We walked to boat trips and restaurants, as well as to the ferry to Kerrera. The cottage was great for all the family. We were surprised how much space there was and it is such a fantastic location with lots to do. The utility room came in useful after watersports on the Loch or mountain biking. Views across the lambing fields and valley towards Loch Earn were beautiful and relaxing. We absolutely loved staying at Julie and Ians place. The scones and prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch and a fab way to start of our weekend! The location was just stunning and we enjoyed having a wee dip in the river at the end of the garden! Would highly recommend this place as it was perfect for making a nice meal and enjoying each others company. Thanks so much for hosting us!

We had a wonderful stay!! Lynn is an amazing host: very responsive, friendly, kind, and thoughtful. The home is absolutely beautiful with a fantastic view of the loch. There were seven of us (adults) and we were all very comfortable. The garden (yard) is large with soft, mossy grass, which our dogs loved! Helensburgh is not too far and offers nice places to eat (La Barca's) and fun stores for shopping (Tweedies). Highly recommend! 5 stars🌟

Thanks so much to Grant for letting us stay. I couldn’t recommend his place enough - a perfect spot for us whilst we investigated Arran. Grant was a great host, going above and beyond to provide a high chair and baby bath for our infant.

We had a wonderful stay in John and Fran’s beautiful flat. The flat is spacious, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. Fran gave us a super warm welcome and made us feel right at home. We couldn’t recommend highly enough!

We had the best time here! Scott helped us out a lot by accomodating us a day early when our when broke down. The place was clean and very modern, everything we needed was there! We walked into the city almost every day but the subway is fairly close so that is an option too. You don't have to go far for the best food, our favourite place was just 10 mins walking distance! We will absolutely come back to Scotts' when we come back to Glasgow!

Me and my friends loved the apartment. Really clean and it’s really pretty. Also Michael and the team answered really quickly to our messages and were always ready to help. An adventure to repeat 😊

Beautiful compact space, overlooking amazing views of the sea. A tranquil space, with a well equipped kitchen . This being maybe the 6th Airb&b place we have stayed in . We were amazed with Vincent & Nicole’s generosity, the welcome card, and gifts , the milk . We had stopped to pick up some groceries and had been disappointed as the farm foods had no orange juice . A pleasant surprise to open the fridge and find some . Vincent messaged to say we could help ourselves to the tea/coffees etc & other supplies . We were fortunate with the weather as only a bit of rain on a couple of days , made our 7 days Wizz past . A couple of day in the amazingly beautiful highlands, some local exploration. A beautiful week . We would definitely like to come back at some point in the future .

John was a brilliant host with very good communication , when we go back to inverary we will definitely stay at his place again.

The Editor’s Choice is a lovely apartment: quiet, spotless and close to restaurants and the port. We appreciated the very well-equipped kitchen, the plants and the tasteful decor. It is up three flights of stairs, so make sure you’re travelling light! The reward for getting up there is the fine views to the south, across the port and up to pulpit hill.

This really is a beautiful place. The interior is stunning, but the views across Rothesay Bay are simply perfect. Our hosts were friendly and responsive. A minor issue (nobody’s fault - just one of those things) was rectified professionally and quickly. Sometimes, it’s not the situation that’s important, it’s how people react to it. The reaction was top class. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and we hope to stay there again in the not too distant future. Thanks for having us. Phill, Adele and Charlie.
