Pine Tree Cottage is a beautiful, traditional stone built cottage that has been sympathetically updated with excellent outdoor facilities. Situated in a beautiful part of the Trossachs, next to Loch Venachar - perfect to enjoy the many things to do in the area. We loved it. All the furniture is high quality- loads of equipment in the kitchen with really nice touches, (sandwich toaster, griddle, etc) and well supplied with cutlery & cooking gear. The bed was great with a firm mattress & lovely linen. The shower was excellent and the bathroom had a lovely antique bath, but what really makes the cottage special is the covered outside decking and summer house- so cosy and perfect to enjoy the fabulous views even with a spot of Scottish drizzle. Emma is a great host, friendly and communicated clearly, checking in with helpful advice. Thank you Emma for a fabulous stay. We will definitely return. It was a really memorable holiday x

We had an amazing week at the little cabin on the loch with our 2 dogs Jasper and Jeanie. It has everything you need for a peaceful time to yourselves. Sue and Henk were lovely to chat to when our paths crossed and they made sure everything was perfect for us. We adopted the friendly red squirrel for the week, who was always enjoying the surroundings of the loch. Its perfect location means the loch is a stones throw away, we went down every day for either a swim or a paddle board. If you too stay here then Mhor bakery in Callander is a must, the sourdough bread and scotch pies are amazing!! Thanks again to Sue and Henk for providing the perfect place for us to relax, celebrate and enjoy the loch!

We had a lovely stay at the Wee Hoose. Matthias had sent lots of helpful information about checking in, parking and recommending various eateries etc. Although the house was off the main road it was very quiet there. It was very well equipped with everything needed for a self catering holiday. There was plenty of tourist information in the house, including some nice walks. It's the perfect base for walking from the town and also visiting many interesting places nearby. And it was much bigger inside than we were expecting! Thanks very much 😊

We loved our overnight stay here, very peaceful, great views of the river, much opportunity for wildlife spotting if we were here longer. We wouldn't hesitate to return and look forward to doing so. Beautiful food option too, which was a welcome surprise
