This fascinating small castle is close to the River Tummel, where you can fish for trout in season, and is full of character with a view over the river to Schiehallion mountain. Down by the riverbank there is a bonfire site where you can gather fallen branches and sit around the camp fire of an evening with family and friends. The garden is unenclosed so, being close to the river, small children should be supervised at all times. Dogs should be supervised when outside. There is a lovely walk along the river to the first hydro electric dam built in Scotland in the 1930s.

Highland loch-side, 2 bed house with amazing view.

"Dail an Fheidh" (gaelic for "Deer Field") is a 2 bedroom house situated on the beautiful shores of Loch Linnhe. The house is set in an acre of field and has direct access to the loch. There are amazing views over to Ben Nevis and red deer graze near the house, all year long. A 40 minute drive will take you to the popular town of Fort William or head west to explore the stunning Ardnamurchan Peninsula. You can use the Corran Ferry to access the house, but please note, we are not on an island.

Greenshadows - a detached 16th-century Scottish cottage fronting River Leny with views of Ben Ledi in the heart of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. The house has a rich history. Locally called ‘The Pink House’, it was a safe haven during the Jacobite uprising. The author of ‘The Junglebook’ is thought to have resided at Greenshadows for a short period. Of note is William Turner’s painting of Ben Ledi from Kilmahog Bridge (on display at the Tate Gallery) just a few hundred metres away.

With outdoor Sauna. Ideally suited to those who enjoy seclusion and the outdoors, there are many trails and paths from outside the door, and Glencoe Mountain Ski Resort is nearby. Glenetive can get busy with tourists during the season who want to share the beautiful views and wildlife.

The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

The Curling Pond is a detached 4 bedroom house, centrally situated in the seaside, historic town of Inveraray. Home to the Duke of Argyll - the castle is 5 minutes walk. A purpose-built family home with a large enclosed garden and off-street parking. The main street with all its amenities is a 2 minute walk. All public rooms, WC/cloakroom are ground floor, upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, one with a modern en-suite, plus a family bathroom.
