Holiday rentals with lake access in Llŷn Peninsula

This was a great base for myself and 4 mates to climb Snowdon and mountain bike in the surrounding area. Parking is on the road, but we didn't have too many issues finding some on the high street away from the parking restrictions (5 mins walk). The bunk bed was a little creeky, but not surprising or an issue for us. Good coffee and tea supplies. Clean and well spaced out downstairs

Couldn’t have booked a better place for our trip. So homely, spotlessly clean and a perfect base if you’re planning on doing Snowdon. Would 100% book again!

Was only a 10 min walk to zip World which was our main reason for the visit. The cottage has other walks around just behind the cottage too. Decent enough rooms and a good sound system for music. Very rustic little cottage worth the visit

What an incredible week away! The surroundings are so peaceful and are absolutely gorgeous. There were so many walks right from the front door that were lovely and quiet. The home has everything you need and Lucinda was there to give some great recommendations! The Bryntirion was a great place to eat! Every time you go on a drive the views will take you breath away. I’d highly recommend and would love to come back! Our dachshunds also thoroughly enjoyed their break as well!

Thanks for such a lovely stay! Beautiful location. We did a sunrise walk up the llanberis path and being so close made it so much better and enjoyable! The accommodation was amazing, so many lovely Toys. Well equipped and very clean!

We had a great stay at Andy’s cottage. A truly beautiful home very well furnished and cozy. Great location for taking out our paddle boards & our Snowdon hike. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

What a lovely home from home feel. It's location was perfect for us, 6 min walk to Black rock beach, fish and chip shop or beach restaurant (we didn't eat there). It was under 30mins to Snowdon and a quick drive to Beddgelert. Porthmadog was 5min drive with independent shops on the High St and food shops like Aldi, Lidl and Tesco in town. The house itself is perfect for family of 4 or 2 couples, large living room, clean bathroom and 2 comfy double beds as well as a conservatory with dining table. Would def ho again, thank you Owain for the milk and tea, we needed it after our long drive to get to you.

Fantastic apartment with wonderful views. We took our 3 year old and 3 month old children, alongside our 2 dogs and had a wonderful time. The enclosed big back garden was really helpful with the dogs, and was also a sun trap. Aberdovey is a little hilly when you turn off the seafront, so bear this in mind as the entrance to the apartment is on a side street, we managed fine. The apartment itself was great, but literary being over the road from the beach, we generally only ate and slept there. Highly recommend. This is the second time we have stopped in Aberdovey and we will be back again. Once you go 400m down the beach from the centre, the dogs are allowed to roam free all year round.

This clean, tidy apartment was perfect for what we wanted and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend to others. Loved the views!

You couldn’t want a more perfect location than Grady’s it’s literally at the start of the high street with the harbour a 1 minute walk . Grady’s place had everything you’d need for a home from home stay .. we found it spotlessly clean and fresh . Grady was a great host very responsive.. we will definitely book again and highly recommend.

Iona’s place was perfect for our 2 night stay to get the train up Snowden and walk down. Spacious apartment, freshly decorated and furnished with comfortable beds and settee. Quiet at night. Thoughtful touches like milk in the fridge and biscuits, tea bags, silver foil etc make the difference after a long drive. We would recommend Iona’s place.

Sandra was very responsive and we were met upon arrival and shown round everything. The location is great, you can see the lake from the windows, 30 second walk to lake front, playground, swimming spot. 20 mins walk to the wonderful outdoor sauna, slate museum, railway etc. 8 mins walk to the Sherpa bus stop with access all over Snowdonia. What more can you ask!

A spacious flat with well equipped kitchen and bathrooms and a very comfortable lounge. This property is in a great location with all the local amenities on the doorstep. Easy to find and easy to park. An ideal base to the beautiful North-West Wales. Gwen was friendly and helpful and a good communicator. A great few days away :-)

Stunning Valentines weekend away. Myself and my partner had an amazing relaxing weekend, local to Snowdon for walks and also beautiful views of the lake from the bedroom window which was only a 5-10 minute walk - beautiful! Gorgeous space, very light and airy. Decorated beautifully, very comfortable, felt like we were at home. Would definatley recommend and we are looking to come back in Summer time. Not far from a local co op and petrol station. Very simple instructions on how to get in, we arrived in the dark and all the lights were left on. Heating is on a timer which was perfect for us, we we’re always warm and perfect temperature. Thank you Ceri & Gwion for such a spectacular stay.

After initially only booking for one night, the place was so perfect we stayed for two! Really could have stayed for months! Lovely apartment on an amazing location with beautiful views of the mountains from the front door! Easy access to bars and restaurants and if walking like I was, it’s within walking distance to the Llanberis Path up Snowdon and the Snowdon Railway. The apartment was spotlessly clean and cozy and really peaceful throughout the day and night ensuring a good nights sleep in comfy beds before a hike. I will definitely be staying again! 🤩

If you like to see Woodpeckers, Nuthatches and Jays feeding just outside the window and want to hear only the sound of birdsong and a babbling stream then this is the place for you. Okay, netflix, prime etc is available if you have an account with them via the smart tv, but why not turn off the tv and enjoy the serenity? The reviews say it all really - enchanting. The only negative (for some) may be the 15 min drive up the one track, steep and bending road, its not for the nervous driver, but once done, you get used to where the passing places are and it is all part of the adventure of staying in this beautiful part of the country.

This place is lovely. It's tucked away in a village around 10 minutes away from Llanberis so great for Snowdon hikers. There are beautiful walks in the local area and Nick is an amazing host. The cottage was cosy, clean and spotless and had everything I was looking for in a getaway.

A couple of friends and I stayed at Ship Cottage for a bank holiday weekend. The cottage is the perfect location to explore the best of Snowdonia and North Wales. Basil was extremely helpful and flexible with check in, and made an effort to make sure sure we had everything we needed over our stay. The cottage is perfect with everything you need and more. The kitchen is fully equipped and even had basics like oil, salt, tea, foil, cling wrap etc so we were easily able to make packed lunches for our days out. The cottage was spotless, beds super comfy and lots of hot water. There are endless thoughtful touches throughout the accommodation. Would highly recommend Ship Cottage to anyone looking for a quiet retreat in North Wales. There are even views of Snowdon from the front porch! The village is small, but that means walking distance to the pub!

Absolutely loved my stay at Steve’s place - very clean and comfortable, super comfy bed. The garden was lovely to sit in and enjoy the end of the day’s sunshine. Steve is very generous with his time and knowledge of the area and the local wildlife. Would have loved to stay here longer! Highly recommended.

We loved our stay in this pretty cottage. It was very clean and comfortable and incredibly well equipped. Plenty of room to spread out and sit and chat in the evenings. The front garden is a sun trap and a great place to sit and chill after a busy day. The cottage was easy to find and the key safe makes it easy to access and means you’re not tied to a specific time. Great power showers and comfy beds too. The perfect place to stay if you want to be in Betws.

We had a lovely stay at Samantha’s place which is perfectly located with amazing views and walks directly from the front door. We didn’t use our car for the entire time that we were there. We had a very warm welcome, the home was beautifully clean and Samantha has thought of everything we could possibly have needed during our stay (and then some). Communication with Samantha was great and her recommendations meant that we didn’t need to forward plan at all. The area is wonderfully quiet and private, we would definitely love to stay here again.
