Dan y Coed means 'under the trees'. Our cottage has nestled under the wooded hillside of Tan yr Allt for 200 years. The cottage is on the outskirts of Llanidloes, a 10 minute walk to town. We pride ourselves on guest satisfaction and the cottage is equipped to a high standard. We welcome all people and well behaved pets (downstairs). Come, enjoy the opportunity to walk, cycle, sail, fish or just relax. We are eco friendly in every way possible. Caring for the planet and guests a top priority.

With amazing views over the valley, you can just sit back and enjoy the natural world around you. If mountain biking is your thing, we are right on the Climachx Mountain Bike Trails and a stones throw from Dyfi Bike Park. There's lush river swimming spots, lakes, waterfalls and mountains to explore. Our nearest beach is Aberdyfi, just 30mins away. 16mins drive to the epic Cadair Idris!

This 3 bedroom 1902 cottage sleeps 6, with 3 spacious double bedrooms. The panoramic sun lounge over looks our farm animals and wildlife. The light spacious kitchen includes an oil cooking range, electric cooker and all the other essentials you need. The local shop, pub & restaurant are superb and are within walking distance.

We can also provide fruit and veg as we run an organic market garden in the summer months.
