1739 Farmhouse, spectacular view, beaches, walking
Located in a small village at end of Gower Peninsula, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with wild horses, stunning beaches, many walking/hiking opportunities, plus King Arthur's stone and a castle nearby. This my family home where I grew up, when not living in Asia. Furnishings reflect those years abroad and make this house (with woodburner) quite unique, along with having a small private woods trail and one of the best views in the village of the Worm’s Head. The Bake House, self contained Lodge.
The Bake House forms part of Western House which is an Old Farm House, in the heart of Llangennith and 5 minutes from the local beach. The Lodge type, self contained unit has a sitting area and kitchen with a woodburning stove and electric wall radiators. There is an enclosed yard and along a small walkway is an exterior wet-room with a very warm shower and toilet. There is a double bed suspended in the roof in a mezzanine style. The large sette is also a double bed. Fully equipped basic kitchen

Driftwood cottage is a compact and beautiful detached 18th century stone cottage, set in it's own small garden and based in the idyllic hamlet of Cwm Ivy in North Gower. A magical walk from the property leads through the Whitford National Nature Reserve to both Whitford Sands and Broughton Bay (both are within half a mile). The Gower peninsular offers an array of beautiful coastal walks, open grasslands, woodland and marsh walks. It also boasts some of the most spectacular beaches in the UK.

It is located at the end of the Gower peninsular has off-road parking and is 5 minutes walk down a lane to beautiful Mewslade beach, 10 minutes walk to wonderful Rhossili. It has a low double bed up narrow stairs in a lovely roof space (not standing height), a kitchen and dining area that opens out onto the courtyard, separate room with sofa bed & TV and a shower room.
