The Sheep Pen @ Nantygwreiddyn Barns

Reconnect with nature and enjoy the spectacular views from our hill farm in the Black Mountains. The historic stone barn has been sympathetically converted into two adjoining cottages. The Sheep Pen, a double bedroom with a double sofa bed downstairs and The Byre, with two double bedrooms. Fully self contained with kitchen areas, internet, smart TVs, handy USB sockets in all rooms and bedding and towels provided. Guests have access to our 60 acres of land where we keep rare breed sheep and deer.

Nestle up in front of the wood burning stove on a cold night, enjoy a BBQ on the patio or a morning drink on the balcony. The cottage is within an active small holding complex that hosts a variety of friendly farm animals. Lots of local attractions, including Walking, cycling, water sports, horse riding, climbing and eating out at the local pub less than 100m down the road.

Get in amongst the hills, reservoirs and fields of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Talybont on Usk is a 15 minute walk away for great pubs, bike rental and a small village shop. Get back to basics. Kick off your walking boots, light the fire, relax. Watch stars and sheep and escape from it all. Our rustic cabin makes a perfect retreat for couples or individuals looking for somewhere unique. The hut gets it's name from the hill that dominates the view from the porch seat - Tor y foel.

The Bwthyn - a tiny cruck-beamed cottage, situated at the confluence of two streams, tastefully restored to offer a place of peace in beautiful surroundings in the Brecon Beacons National Park, close to Pen y Fan & Black Mountains. A cosy quiet space to stop and breathe, with walks at all levels from the door. There is a fab super king bed that can be split into 2 singles. ( please give prior notice if you’d like this) There is a large smart tv Off street parking and own out door seating area. We welcome cyclists and have secure lock up for bikes, use of track pump, work stand ,hose etc. No children under 12.

Our stylish & cosy hideaway is the ultimate escape where you can re-wild yourself in acres of tranquility. Wander straight out the door onto the mountains taking in some breathtaking views. Return home to the sauna, soothe tired limbs & then relax by spinning some vinyl from the record collection, whilst the log burner crackles & the owls enthusiastically serenade as dusk sets in! ( plus we now have an indoor padel ball court for you to exercise your inner Federer!!)

The garden has beautiful views. There are three residential labrabours so being dog friendly is essential. ❤
