Aminta is the best host I’ve had. Right from the start, she welcomed me and helped me with my luggages, she helped me and guided me to the bus stop, always giving me water and fruits. Even though she doesn’t speak english, she makes an effort to always communicate with me and ask me if I need anything. She makes sure I feel at home. I recommend this to anyone who’s traveling in NYC. It’s definitely cheaper and the bus stop to NYC is only a 2 min walk from the house and 20 min ride to PABT and the host is the best. Thank you so much Aminta! I will definitely go back if I’ll be visiting NYC again in the future! 🙌🏻

Jose and his family are gracious, welcoming, responsive hosts. Upon arrival, there were complimentary Snicker bars and water bottles, which made my long journey easier. The bed was soft and comfortable. My room was cosy, clean, and spacious. The bathroom was clean. The kitchen worked perfectly and looked cosy. The house is a short walk to bus stops (there are at least three bus stops around) -- the average time for me to go from the house to Manhattan was 45 minutes by a combo of walking and bus, which was convenient enough as the New Jersey - New York bus services ran frequently at all times from early morning to past midnight. Transportation advice: New York to New Jersey routes start from the Port Authority Bus Terminal: 168 Hackensack, 167Q (these two routes drop you off 5 mins from the house)(do not mistake 167Q for 167T!), or 165 (drops you off 20 mins from house). The neighbourhood is very safe and quiet. I recommend Jose's AirBnb to anyone visiting New York City or Newark

This is my third time staying with Melvin and Angela. Their "Creative Room" is a fabulous rental space in their home. It gets great light and is more like a small studio than just a room. Aside from the bedroom aspects, there's a couch, small kitchen-type table (also great as a work-space), chairs, vanity, mini-fridge with freezer, microwave, a big closet, and more. The full-size private bathroom is right next door. The place is very clean and quiet, and the neighborhood is great. I love staying here -- highly recommended!!

Mario and Elena were honestly amazing!!! They made us feel right at home! They were soo responsive and helped us with literally anything we needed. Their home is beautiful and everything was as they said it would be. Would definitely come back here!! And would 1000% recommend!
