Family-friendly holiday rentals in Lisburn and Castlereagh

We were new to this quiet part of Northern Ireland and it was a rare find to discover the Mourne Mountains, beaches and small villages close by. Jill’s home was the perfect escape for our family when we wanted to relax, cook, play games and watch movies. The hot tub was a bonus which we enjoyed despite the wet and cold rainy days. Would love to come back as we felt right at home

Lynne’s place was perfect! Just as she described. She welcomed us as soon as we arrived. The location was ideal. We covered a lot of ground from Belfast to Bushmills. The town of Dromore and Hillsborough are delightful. Would highly recommend!

Booked this house for a wee treat getaway for my mother who just went through cancer treatment with a bunch of girls & we had the best time from start to finish. The place was beautiful very spacious, had everything we needed & we really enjoyed the hottub. The host was so helpful & answered any questions i had within seconds. Would definitely recommend this place

Myself and my partner stayed here for a night to escape the city life. We booked very last minute and Linda was extremely accommodating, which we were very grateful for considering the short notice we provided! Absolutely beautiful stay. A cosy and quaint set up, with beautiful land surrounding. So peaceful and private - exactly what we were looking for! So much character and so many little touches have been put into this place, we were obsessed! We were greeted as we arrived, shown around and most importantly introduced to the WoodFire HotTub which had been filled up for us! Kenneth was so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed! A perfect place for a couple to escape and wind down. With little to no internet connection (which is what we wanted) and no television, we were able to unwind from our busy lives! Back to the basics! We were absolutely obsessed with this place, I would recommend any couple looking for an escape to book in with Linda! 10/10 - we will be back!

Annette was a fabulous host, very understanding when we got delayed as we were hiking Slieve Donard, super friendly and made us feel right at home! The apartment itself was wonderful, so clean and tidy! The hot tub was a brilliant touch as it was nice to relax after climbing a mountain all day. 100% would love to stay again next time we’re in the county!

We had the perfect getaway with friends in this beautiful house by the sea. We were 4 adults and 3 young children and there was plenty of space for us all. There are lots of stairs which were difficult at times for the younger ones. But that didn’t take away from our stay. We got the hot tub which we thoroughly enjoyed once the kids were in bed. Would definitely recommend.

Had a great stay at Lilac Cottage, we were staying there as our son’s wedding was at Orangetree House, lovely cosy sitting room, well stocked kitchen and the cottage was spotless. Unfortunately we didn’t get the full benefit as it would be a great location for anyone to explore the Ards peninsula and across to Strangford and Mourne Country and come back to relax in the garden. Janet had also left us some ‘goodies’ and even Pooh bags for the dog! Apologies I took her for a walk and still have them 🙈 would 100% recommend and all being well will use again

There were 7 of us and we found the house to be spacious, clean and tidy, in beautiful surroundings. It was a good base to travel to neighbouring towns. Overall we had a great time in a beautiful house.

What a treat! Hosts were very helpful and responsive, brimming with local recommendations. Boat is just as beautiful as pictured. The barge is very stable, so it’s hard to tell you’re on a boat, until another boat goes by, you feel the slight movement, and are reminded that you’re actually on a boat yourself!

Miriam's place was delightful. Super location, very clean inside and she had left a wonderful breakfast 😍.. with extra goodies too. She was so thoughtful, and I really enjoyed staying there for the three nights. I highly recommend this spot.

This place is a little haven. It was cosy, comfortable and very peaceful. Although it is in the countryside, proximity to Lisburn and Royal Hillsborough are a short drive away. We had our little dog Ted with us and it was so safe to let him run around outside as all securely fenced. Pauline was friendly and responsive. I would highly recommend staying here if you want peace and beautiful surroundings. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We had a great stay with our dog and even messier toddler. Bronach showed us around the property and gave us some great local tips for dog walking. Bronach generously gave us some groceries to get us started and lots of toys for our toddler to play with. Would definitely go back.

Trevor was very helpful with messages and instructions in the house. The house was very clean and well equipped for us, we had a great time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fodhla’s cottage! Fodhla was a great host with excellent communication! The cottage itself is so stunning and has everything you would need in a lovely location. Would highly recommend to anyone that is wishing to stay here!!

We really enjoyed staying at Paula's flat, it made our trip much easier. Paula was super accommodating for both us and our dog. Found the flat very comfortable and homely, easy to find everything. On arrival Paula was there to meet us not just with a friendly hello and some recommendations but with a whole bag of groceries as well - we couldn't get through it all! We felt safe and happy in the flat and location and are going back in March! I can't fault the flat or Paula at all. Thank you so much and looking forward to seeing you again in March!

Myself and my husband stayed at the barn for our daughter’s first Christmas, along with our golden retriever. It was the perfect home from home, with a cosy interior and idyllic surroundings. We were there for two weeks but really felt like we could’ve stayed a lot longer! Really couldn’t recommend the barn enough. We’re already planning our next trip back!

The place was spotlice, close to town and amenities. Have food recommendations. Easy to find, matched the description and Brian was very helpful host.

We loved our stay in Belfast. Michael’s place was as described but felt larger than the pictures. We couldn’t locate the dryer but Michael was quick to respond even later in the evening. The primary bedroom was spacious with a comfortable queen, 2 sons shared a smalller room, a double. Initially we felt the street was a little sketchy but ended up being quiet and felt safe. The immediate surrounding area was lovely. Walked to a wonderful pizza place, Orto. It’s a college town with Queens University and botanical gardens. Enough street parking and easy,quick drive to sightseeing spots

The hosts were easy to contact and responded to messages in good time. The house was clean and had most of the things you need. The hosts left travel bottles of shampoo and body washes which was a nice touch. This house was very spacious and in a good location. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

We had a wonderful stay at Alexandra's place as accommodation prior to my wedding for myself and the bridal party. Alexandra and Sally were very accommodating and even provided some provisions of bread, milk and Prosecco! I would definitely love to stay here again with more time to explore the local area, which is beautiful. The house itself is charming and characterful, as well as well-equipped for cooking and doing laundry. There is a double garage at the rear of the garden which was very helpful for parking.

Clean, well outfitted, and super lovely hosts. Bear in mind the bedrooms are on floors two and three, which was fine for us. Close to city hall for tour pick ups/drop offs and walkable from the train station. McCombs Tour pickup was literally a five min walk from the flat. Chris was a great host! We loved Belfast!

Ryan and Milo’s apartment was the perfect place for us in Belfast. Away from the huddle and busses of the city, but close enough to walk to all of the sites, and right next to the Titanic Museum. There was also free parking which was convenient as we had a rental vehicle. Ryan was very communicative and helpful when we had a question! Thank you, Ryan, for your hospitality. We will recommend this Airbnb to our friends that visit Belfast.

Highly recommended. Fabulous property! Doreen is very friendly and hospitable. Very comfortable beds too with en suite bathrooms in each room!

Laura’s space was a home away from home. Very convenient location and very peaceful neighborhood. Everything looks beautiful and like described. The home is very cozy and we genuinely enjoyed our time while there. Laura was very helpful and pleasant. Overall, I strongly recommend others to stay here and would happily be back.
