Alapihan Arboretum guest house with sauna

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Villa LHJ Heinämäki

Villa was build 1999-2000 as a second home from the family with basic facilities criteria for everyday living. Basic principle was to have a place to calm down but also a house for remote work in home village. Place is pretty nice on top of the hill, scenery is wide almost all over ... tens of kilometers. This cozy apartment with cooling air conditioning and sauna is located close to the central hospital and the AMK campuses. Parking space. Check-in is effortless thanks to the key box. The beds in the two bedrooms are ready-made and the sofa bed can be used as an extra bed for a third person. In the kitchen cabinets you will find coffee, tea, spices, etc. for our guests. In summer, you can enjoy coffee on your own terrace!

Kuohu - sauna cabin on the shore of a rapid

Kuohu is an atmospheric, warm sauna cottage built in 2015 on the banks of a small river. In the noise of the rapids, you can relax in the sauna, barbecue or campfire. The cottage is located along a small sandy road, completely in its own peace. Koli National Park is about a 30-minute drive, Höytiäinen beach is just over 2km away. We rent canoes and have picnic packages with local products.

The house is part of an old farmyard. The finnish-german couple welcomes its guests the year round, for only one night or for longer stays. The farm and its surroundings offer plenty of activities. The farm hosts a model railway, a farm museum and an organic beekeeping with honey sale. You may book the farm sauna for your own use. Swimming at the lake on demand.
