First of - Kathy’s Kottage offers a uniquely private, warm and inviting detached cottage. We are not a huge commercial venture, but owned, operated, maintained, and cleaned by hosts who live within 150 yards. The Kottage is our only offering. We charge a cleaning fee of $35 a stay, so there isn't a list of chores at check out. We take up to 4 hours between every stay to extensively clean and disinfect every surface. We are proud of the Kottage as shown in every review over the last four years.

Welcome to Grandma B’s House, a 1920’s farmhouse in the small town of De Soto, KS in our quaint Old Town area with parks, pool, shopping, restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. De Soto is located an easy 15-20 minute drive from the larger communities of Lawrence & Kansas City Metro. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is comfortably decorated with antiques and vintage pieces to help you reminisce of days gone by. Experience the nostalgia of small town Kansas in our friendly town.

For living room comfort,we provide a massage chair, power recliner sofa, Xbox Game system, and TV with premium channels on Roku! Kitchen is very open and fully stocked. 10 minutes from KU & downtown 5 minutes to i-70.

In case you get lonely, we have 2 friendly dogs always looking for attention. We are about 45 minutes away from the Kansas City airport, Kauffman Stadium, Arrowhead Stadium, the KU main campus, and the Harry S Truman sports complex. We are 10-15 minutes from the Scheels soccer complex. Overland Park has plenty of Kansas barbecue and shopping.
