MILO FARM-Sacred Kansas City Retreat

AmyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay was peaceful, beautiful, and full of thoughtful touches! The downstairs space was spacious, spotless, and looked brand new—extra blankets, stacked towels, beach towels, and even a relaxing steam room made it feel like a retreat. Lonnie was so kind—she gave my daughter food to feed the goats and the girls food for the koi fish, which was magical to watch! The scenery was breathtaking, with gorgeous hiking trails and adorable animals. Though there was a double-booking, Lonnie generously refunded us and let us leave early, which we deeply appreciated. Communication was a bit delayed, so I recommend bringing your own lighter, and requesting wood before hand and clarifying who’s staff vs. other guests. If you’re sensitive to diverse beliefs, know this space honors multiple paths. Overall, a truly special stay—we left refreshed and full of beautiful memories! The donkeys are hilarious and the goats so cute! We loved that they just hang out in the property and you can pet them!

Lux tiny off-grid cabin getaway

KateRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a peaceful and rejuvenating stay. The property is gorgeous and great for relaxing (and birding). Daniel provided videos which explained everything we needed to know about the property. The space was clean and comfortable, and we wish we could have stayed longer. Hiiiighly recommend, and we hope to be back!

We loved our stay. It was cozy, comfortable, and peaceful. The beds were great and the outside activities (fire pit, hammock, swing, and basketball hoop) were a favorite of our kids. We would definitely recommend! The hosts are so friendly and welcoming.

Victoria’s loft was gorgeous! We were in awe of the love & detail in the loft. It was very comfortable and spacious and the amenities were beyond what we normally experience. My family had a great visit with many after midnight pool games. Definitely more than 5 stars here.

Redbird Farm camper experience

MelodyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a quick overnight stay at the Farm. The land is beautiful. Some animals like turkeys, geese, ducks, peacocks, Guinea hens , silkies, small goats, small sheep, & livestock guardian dogs roam freely. They we very friendly!! During our visit there were baby lambs and Nigerian dwarf goats that we were able to bottle feed and snuggle. That was amazing!!! Melissa & Tommy were very helpful in showing us around. Most animals are fenced ,but you can still interact with, are Highland Cows, Alpacas, Donkeys, Horses, Little Cows, pot belly pigs and lots of goats & sheep. The sunsets over the hill behind the camper and sunrises in the morning over the pond were beautiful. They had a firepit and smore making items but it was windy so we skipped that activity this time. We spent most of our time outside soaking in the beautiful weather and animals, so I cannot tell you much about the camper except the bed was comfortable. Mellissa made us breakfast casserole and it was delicious!

Cheerful cabin on 2000 acre fishing lake.

KatherineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The mattress was good 'ol cabin mattress. Could use a topper or updated mattress. The water (I assume) is on-demand, so it fluctuates often while showering. Place was clean with all the basics for a quick trip. Would stay again.
