Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Lindenthal

Excellent 4 day stay. I used it as a base to visit Cologne, Düsseldorf and Bonne. There is bus service to the Leichlingen train station. it is also s nice walk through the Country side (takes an hr to walk to the train station). Leichlingen is a very pretty little town. There isn't much within a short walk other than a Vegetable store so bring back what you need when you are out. very peaceful and quiet.

Arieh‘s apartment is on the bank of the Rhein, with a terrific view over the river. The location is very close to the central train station (6 or 7-minute walk), so if you want to be based in the center of Cologne for your visit this is an excellent spot. I stayed for a weekend of Karneval and the location really hit the sweet spot: it was very easy to go to all the festival events, but it was nice and quiet when I needed to rest. Arieh generously loads out the kitchen for you, with bread, cheese, meats, and some fruits and vegis so that you will have something to eat every day. There is also coffee and tea on-site. I bought some of my own groceries anyways but it was really a nice touch to have some food there upon arrival. Arieh even provides showergel and a toothbrush! So this place is really plug and play. Arieh is a terrific host who was in touch before, during, and after the visit. I definitely felt that I was in good hands. Thanks so much Arieh!

Wir waren mit der Unterkunft super zufrieden! Es hat alles gepasst und kommen sehr gern wieder. Waren zu dritt in der Unterkunft, was normalerweise sehr ist eine Unterkunft zu finden, aber hat alles perfekt geklappt! Sehr zu empfehlen, gute Lage und netter Kontakt

We stayed at this apartment for 5 nights. The apartment is spacious, stylish decorated and very peaceful. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook your own meals and eat on the lovely, huge terasse with nice views to gardens. It is situated within walking distance from everything, the Augustusburg castle, shopping street and railway station. The big android-TV gives you possibiities to watch your favourite programmes. Farah ist eine sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite und offene Gastgeberin, bei der man sich direkt wohl fühlt. Das Schlafzimmer wie auch das Bad waren sehr schön eingerichtet. Was mich besonders gefreut hat, war ihre zuvorkommende Art, bei Fragen zur Gegend (Köln, Düsseldorf) konnte sie uns gut weiter helfen. Außerdem antwortete sie immer schnell auf Nachrichten, was mir positiv aufgefallen ist :)

Wir waren mehr als zufrieden. Die Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben. Sogar Kleinigkeiten waren vorhanden wie Küche (Gewürze), im Bad (alles was man zusätzlich benötigt wie Duschbad, Shampoo) und ganz besonders, fanden wir, bissl Obst, Süßigkeiten und Überraschung im Kühlschrank. Was wir nicht selbstverständlich finden. Wenn wir nochmal in der Nähe sind, werden wir aufjedenfall wieder einchecken. Habt vielen herzlichen Dank.

Als wir ankamen war alles schon vorbereitet und die Wohnung sogar weihnachtlich geschmückt. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit Jane hat sehr gut funktioniert.

The second time we stay in this house after several years . The house has all the facility we need , we cooked every day . Also there happen some small problems, but Barbra all solved very well on time . Nice and big house , happy time in Koln

Sehr schönes kleines Haus (für 2) im Dorf. Für große Menschen evtl nicht optimal weil sehr niedrige Decken. Öfen und elektrische Heizungen machen aber super gemütlich und warm. Küche ist top ausgestattet. Gute Lage. Supermarkt und Bäcker im Nachbardorf (5minuten Auto). Vom Haus kann man direkt los wandern oder ein kurzes Stück in den Nationalpark fahren.

Der Besuch in Düsseldorf war ein voller Erfolg. Und das Haus + Gastgeber haben einen sehr großen Teil dazu beigetragen. Wir waren zu 4 unterwegs und haben uns alle direkt wie zuhause gefühlt. Besonders die ruhige Lage ist noch einmal besonders hervorzuheben. Christian ist ein Traum von einem gutem Gastgeber, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. 5/5 Sterne gerne wieder.

Highly recommended. It was nice place to stay with family. Everything is close and the apartment is also good specially for short stays.

1Woche mit Familie (2E+2Teens) sehr gut verbracht. Leverkusen ursprünglich nur wegen Fussballspiel anvisiert. Aber sehr gut für Unternehmungen nach Köln, Bonn, Wuppertal,Aachen mit Öfis (Bus&Zug) mit Deutschlandticket super. Wohnung insbesondere Küchentechnisch gut ausgestattet, insbesondere Senseo-Kaffeeautomat hat mir gefallen (hab ich nämlich auch daheim). In jedem Zimmer Klimagerät, haben wir aber nicht gebraucht...wegen Dachgeschoss bei heißem Sommer bestimmt hilfreich. Falls Freunde/Bekannte in die Gegend fahren wollen, würde ich Ihnen die Wohnung klar empfehlen.

Felt right at home, the homedotation was really complete and the welcoming by Elisabeth was marvelous. Right place to be outside the city suranded by nature and quiet nights.

Die Unterkunft war perfekt für uns, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr ruhige Wohngegend, nur 5 min zur S-Bahn. Gutes WLAN. Timo ist sehr gastfreundlich, danke!

Our host was very kind, waiting for us at the place, when we arrived. Also, we made a late-check out, which was very convenient as we have a late flight. The area is very nice, easy access to public transport, many restaurants and cafes nearby.
