Castle holiday rentals in Limousin

We had a great family weekend there. The castle is gorgeous and very well maintained. Special mention for the park very nice. We got answers to our questions very quickly. Thanks to the hosts for hosting.

In the absence of our host Bertrand (for reasons totally beyond his control), we were very kindly and efficiently welcomed by the couple of caretakers of the property. The estate is composed of the castle and several secondary buildings, forming a harmonious and charming ensemble, in a very well-maintained wooded park. The barn we occupied has been completely renovated, its simplicity seduced us, it is equipped with the essentials. We were able to enjoy the swimming pool, a good size, overlooking the surrounding fields. The estate is located 1 km from Maurs, a small village of character that has all the amenities. Ideal base to shine in the Cantal, Lot and Aveyron regions. After 5 idyllic days, we left this haven of peace.

We had a great stay during December for two weeks. The chateau is beautiful and as advertised. Floris, who manages it, was very welcoming and responsive. Its location is ideal for visiting the caves and other chateaux in the area. Given the opportunity, we would definitely rent it again, in summer or winter time.

A beautiful home full of character and the perfect private escape in Brive. The large bedrooms and amazing fireplace made our stay cosy and comfortable. So happy we made the decision, if the opportunity arises we will definitely come back :)

We were able to stay in the « Red Room », in the tower building. A nice big room, as you can expect from a castle. Beautiful views, located in the middle of nature. Beautiful large swimming pool. Very friendly operator and castle lord. You could just do your thing. Everything was possible, nothing had to…. A nice holiday feeling.

Very nice accommodation (small downside on the lack of shutters upstairs) and beautiful wooded park (a pleasure for children) where we were lucky enough to spot animals. Forest hiking trails from the property and shops / good restaurants 15min drive, easily accessible. Love the guinguette recommended by Clothilde;) I recommend it.

Mansion that remains in its time, that's what we were looking for! Perfect for hosting people without stepping on them and being able to enjoy a really nice exterior! Beautiful moments shared in this building 🤗

Very nice stay at the castle, too bad that for the 1st rental of the year the cleaning left something to be desired. Apart from this unfortunate incident, this building, which is in its original state, is really great for hosting a group of 15 people. We recommend it!!

Warm welcome from Elisabeth and then many friendly exchanges with Raissa. Very quiet accommodation, set back from the rest of the castle which allows some privacy. Accommodation with all the essentials to have a good time in a very typical village. The only " tricky" point could be the parking but we always found a simple solution except one night, arrived late or we fell in a municipal parking lot below. A very pleasant stay with very welcoming hosts.

We will be back. Amazing host, perfect getaway for a group. 100% satisfaction! Highly recommended. Simon hosted a wine tasting which was incredible. The pool area is simply amazing.

This is honestly one of the best Airbnb's we've ever stayed in. A stunning, historic property in a beautiful, peaceful location, with elegant period furnishings which we love. We made meals in the small but well equipped kitchen and dined in the garden. Isabelle was a helpful, friendly host and we couldn't wish for more.

We had a great time at this very pleasant little house, quiet, beautifully renovated, very well equipped and very comfortable. The room with the small balcony overlooking the trees is spacious, very cozy and the bedding is of very good. There's even a place to store bikes. Maryse hosted us very well, very friendly and very accommodating. We felt right at home. The location is perfect for enjoying the Cantal, nature, hiking or biking. We highly recommend this listing!

We had a truly magical stay with friends, unforgettable evenings, themed dinner parties in medieval attire, birthday celebrations, and even an engagement in the stunning garden. Everyone who joined us said it was an incredible and unique experience!

16 of us stayed for a week in le Chateau, ourselves, 5 children ,3 in-laws, 6 grandchildren and 3 dogs. We managed to sort out the sleeping arrangements to everyones satisfaction and it was so exciting to stay in such an old Chateau. The secluded situation provided ideal freedom for the children and dogs.We enjoyed fishing ( although failed to catch a carp), playing pool, games and the cinema room. The swimming pool was the main attraction for most especially the pool-party - celebrating a 10yr old birthday - comment from the 6yr old "it was the best day of my life" Other comments: "It was so lovely nothing negative except more mugs needed." "I thought it was brilliant, the chap who was on site was excellent" "Amazing accommodation and facilities, would definitely recommend . Relating to a review I read - not luxury but its authenticity offers so much more. Lovely places nearby if you can tear yourself away. So sad it was only one week.

Wonderful hosts, available, very welcoming and friendly. Our week of vacation with friends went very well and we will keep a great memory of it! The estate and its garden are beautiful, the pool is very nice. We spent our days and evenings outside, the environment being so relaxing and beautiful. The bedrooms are large and the bathrooms too, with the charm of the old. Swing, ping pong table, barbecue, the house is well equipped for leisure. We had a great time and will definitely be back! Almodis was always responsive and available. I recommend it!

We tried to come up with a bad review so we could keep the place our little secret... but we just really loved our stay with Keith and Anita. We went to stay at this lovely and charming chateau for a week and it was all that we hoped for. It is a great place to relax and unwind. We felt very welcome with such friendly hosts, who were always there to give tips for local restaurants, etc. We would love to come back there one day. Tip: we could recommend their homemade afternoon tea.

We had a wonderful stay at Bruno and Veronique's. The hosts were very welcoming and available. We received some great tips for visiting the city and the area. Plus, the mansion is exceptional. We received a very interesting tour of the place. The room was as described. The bed was comfortable. The very hearty breakfast. In short, I highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic time at Suzanna’s place. It’s an absolutely beautiful setting with nice views out of the chateau and lovely swimming pool. We stayed for a week with our kids and their grandparents and all had a great time. Suzanna herself was extremely responsive and accommodating. We actually had an issue with another booking for which I was awaiting a refund before booking last minute. Suzanna was extremely helpful and accommodated us last minute and we absolutely lucked out with it being such a nice place.

A very nice weekend in this peaceful and comfortable room, which allowed us to escape for a weekend. Pierre is very considerate and welcoming, we both enjoyed our stay at the castle!
