Farmstay holiday rentals in Ligurian Sea

The place was excellent, the first week we felt no need going places. So much to do in and around Barga. The house gives you the time to relax and on top of that Laura was more than helpful! Top host and we are certainly coming back and for a longer period so we can explore a bit more and maybe even visiting Sienna or Florence. Sound of Barga has another hidden gem: a separate appartment in the back which is not shown on Airbnb but available if you are with 4. Paolo and Laura, thank for this wonderful experience. Oh, luckily we took our e-bikes: cycling in Lucca and convenient in Barga. We love this place!

We spent a wonderful week with four adults and two babies in the beautiful accommodation. The house is very cozy, the garden beautiful and spacious, the view fabulous and the tranquility a pleasure. We were very warmly welcomed and communication was very fast and helpful throughout the stay - also regarding tips for restaurants or excursion destinations. We will be happy to come back, thank you very much!

Ilaria’s place was perfect - the town with all its amenities is on the door step with everything just a few minutes walk away and yet it is absolutely peaceful and quiet with the most stunning views. The apartment itself is spacious, comfortable and well equipped and Ilaria is on hand for any queries. A perfect spot for exploring this beautiful region.

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved swimming in the pool to cool off after sightseeing in the area. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and cooking utensils to cook in the outdoor kitchen. The setting is beautiful with a fantastic garden with interesting plants and flowers and a view of Nice and the sea on a clear day.

We had a lovely stay at Julien's yurt. The space is in a secluded space, in nature which offers a relaxing change of scenery. This was the first time we spent a night in a yurt, we enjoyed this original experience. Thank you Julien for the 4x4 ride between the parking lot and the yurt, it was very convenient for luggage, and the children liked it! We were able to walk nearby, the setting is beautiful. Thank you also Julien for introducing us to your passion for nature and bees, we enjoyed being able to visit the honey factory and taste several of your honeys. Charming house, very nice terrace, very nice view, starting point for many outdoor or cultural activities.

The accommodation offered here is really a gem. The road to get there is a bit bumpy, but even with our Fiat Panda it was not a problem to get there. The view and the view of the sea and Corsica is truly indescribable. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find it here, there are no neighbours. But several cats, dogs and a very trusting and affectionate donkey. Isa and her husband are very friendly, helpful, easily accessible and leave the guests their privacy, which we found very pleasant. We highly recommend this place. Thanks for having us.

Great apartment as a home base to explore Nice and it's surroundings. Drive to Nice center about 35min. Also convenient to explore inland, Vence, St.Paul de Vence, Gourdon, etc. For cycling, great base as well, on the road up to Col de Vence. Easy access to Nice (with some traffic). The apartment is just as described, beautiful views. Hosts are very responsible and available to answer any questions, give recommendations. Will be back!

Our stay was fantastic! As a couple needing a break from a long start to the year, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax. Nestled in between fields and olive trees, we felt completely at home, the view from the deck was stunning and listening to the different sounds at night, from our private hot tub with a bottle of wine was perfect! We made several day trips to Volterra, Lucca and even Florence from the cabin, though definitely wake up early if you’re planning to venture further out! Would definitely recommend hiring a car if you’re going to stay here! 10 out of 10 stay! Thanks Pino!

Fabrizio's place was perfect! The surrounding area is beautiful, and both the apartment and pool are very well maintained. Everything felt clean and fresh, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. The local pizzeria they recommended is definitely worth a visit, and the wine Fabrizio makes is also excellent. We'd be happy to return for a longer stay next time.

We had an amazing stay at Michael's place. It was beautiful, nicely equipped, super quiet and perfect for some relaxing days in this fantastic wine region.

We had a wonderful stay! The welcome was warm and thoughtful, and the space was spotless and very well equipped. The view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking and added something truly special to our long weekend. The location was perfect for exploring the neighboring villages, making it an ideal base for our trip. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations and throughout our stay we received incredibly good service in the form of wine tasting, help with renting bikes-which we highly recommend, market visits and restaurant experiences that without the hosts' help we have not received. We had a truly lovely stay at Cascina Marenco, the site and the house are beautiful! They put a lot of effort in creating nice places to hang around in the garden, with quality furniture and shading. The garden is just magical! The appartment is traditional, cosy and charming and offers everything you could wish for. Evenings on the terrace are lovely, with a breathtaking view over the valley. Stefano and Valentina are the kindest people, they are super helpfull and think along: they arranged some extra baby stuff for us which was really great and sweet. Thank you, we would definitely visit again!

We enjoyed our stay with Angelo. His property is beautiful and very comfortable. We had a wonderful wine tasting with Angelo and purchased several to enjoy in our rooms and at the beautiful swimming pool. The location was very easy to drive to wineries and restaurants. Would highly recommend this property.

A beautiful house and location, with all the facilities you need. Very friendly host who met us on arrival and was always available to answer any questions we had, the house was clean and tidy inside and the private garden & pool was so peaceful. We had a lovely dinner in their restaurant and were made to feel so welcome, if we return to Metato we will definitely stay here again!

If you are looking for peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the coast, this is the perfect place for you! Great place with an amazing view! Wonderful trails for running, a few minutes by car to the beach if you want. For me, the optimal place to relax and unwind!Elena and her family are very helpful! Absolutely amazing views out of just about every window. The area and surrounding villages are very charming. The place was comfortable and well equipped. Should our travels bring us to this area again, we would absolutely stay here again.

The Captain's House is a place that reconciles you with the world. You can experience beauty for the eyes, spirit and mind. The views are breathtaking, the view from every window is a picture and peace and tranquility are guaranteed. The hosts have created a masterpiece by renovating the house: they have respected the original structure by adding every possible comfort. Andrea and Michael are very kind, they anticipated all our possible needs, they provided us with fresh flowers and fragrant herbs in every room, fresh fruit and everything necessary to "start" the kitchen (oil, salt, spices, etc.). Due to a technical issue, we were unable to use the Jacuzzi for a day and they offered us a dinner to apologise. We've never found hosts of this level. We hope to be able to return to recover those pieces of our hearts that we left at the Captain's House.

A real holiday home, warm and functional, as you don't see much anymore on AirBnb! The decoration is really neat, there is everything you need to cook and the view from the room is beautiful. We visited the area in 3 days without a car, the accommodation is accessible by the Vintimile bus. Thank you Maria, we would definitely recommend it!

A beautiful place to stay, with lovely views. We didn’t brave the walk to Vernazza which meant we were reliant on the car as the property is very remote. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed and the bedroom was very comfortable. Our queries were answered promptly. I was a little perturbed by communication via messages rather than Airbnb app, and from someone other than Debora. Also by the request to send photos of ID. There was an additional cost for tourist tax to be left in cash. This was €3 pp for the first 3 nights.
