Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ligaria

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

We stayed as a family of six, four adults and two children (8 and 5). The set up was really comfortable and worked perfectly for us. The outdoor pool area is great and our two kids loved it - especially as there were lots of inflatables left to play with. We arrived at 3am. Xristos offered to meet us, but when we suggested with young children we'd prefer just to get in and get to bed, then meet up after it was no problem at all. We had instructions to call when we arrived, and the gate was opened for us. We were blown away by how well supplied the house was. Xristos was in touch in the week before to check if we needed anything in particular and couldn't have been more helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to start our holiday. Then we had a delivery of local fruit and wild artichokes as they were in season. Amazing. There was a dust storm before we arrived. Xristos promptly sorted this too. A great and relaxed place to stay, with an unbelievably good host. Thanks!

This place completely exceeded our expectations! It’s absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking, priceless view that made our stay unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable and accommodated. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended!

We stayed at Villa Elena for a week. ( Family of five / three children age 8,11 and 14. The Villa was lovely - nicer than the photos. We loved the pool - great size, a bit bigger and deeper than expected. The view was was amazing, i miss it already. Beaches, restaurants and shops in walking distance. Everyone was so friendly. George was a brilliant host - very responsive and kind He spent time giving great recommendations which was very helpful. We loved our time in crete and would definitely recommend booking here.

Die location ist besonders, wir haben es gefeiert. Schön gelegen. Total ruhig und etwas abseits. Wir fühlten uns absolut sicher. Die lokalen Restaurants waren anfangs Mai gerade geöffnet - es geht dörflich zu. Auto ist notwendig. Die Preise fair, die Menschen freundlich. Freilebende Katzen besuchen. Eine Katze hat ihre Kitten in der Nähe der Unterkunft geboren und fühlt sich dem Haus zugehörig. Der erste Mikromarkt ist 5min entfernt, in Gazi (10min) sind größere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das Bad ist klein und wie alles an dem Haus liebevoll gestaltet. Ab Körpergröße 180cm erfordert die Benutzung der Toilette wegen der Beinfreiheit etwas Flexibilität. Das Haus ist ein Traum, wenn Du entspannen und runterkommen willst.

Liebe Kleopatra, wir durften jetzt zum dritten Mal in Kerames sein und zum zweiten Mal in deiner Unterkunft. Wir haben es wieder genossen! Kerames, die Strände der Umgebung, Nikos Taverne, Hund Roxy, die Katzen und dein wunderschönes Haus sind für uns mittlerweile wie nach Hause kommen! Very nice Villa and very friendly host. Her father is also living there and takes care of the garden. You can park there easily. The equipment and stuff that is available is as promised in the description. Location is actually not right next to the beach, but 10-15mins by foot, but by car it’s only 2mins. The beach there is amazing. The water is quite flat for a while, which is nice for playing in the water and probably for kids. Also the restaurants (especially Seven) there are really good and have a good price.

Thank you so much for a lovely holiday in your beautiful apartment, we loved it! The apartment is just like the photos with the view from the balcony absolutely fantastic. We loved walking down the steps and straight onto the beach for a swim each day. Such a wonderful location. Wij hebben een hele fijne week gehad in het appartement met onze kinderen van 4 en 6 jaar oud. Het appartement was zoals op de foto's van de advertentie getoond! Schoon, netjes, ruim genoeg voor 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. Balkon wel aan de kleine kant met z'n viertjes, maar daar hadden we geen hinder van. Wij hadden met regelmaat contact met Magdalena, zij reageerde steeds heel behulpzaam en enorm snel (binnen 5 min). Dat was heel prettig! Ze had ook een taxi vanaf het vliegveld naar het appartement en aan het eind van de week weer terug voor ons geregeld. Voor de kinderen genoeg te doen hier in de buurt, alles op loopafstand: het kleine zwembad, strand/boulevard, CretAquarium, Dinosaurus park. Ik zou het appartement zeker aanraden! Verder vonden wij de omgeving wel wat verouderd (alhoewel er wel veel nieuwbouw aankomt!) en niet heel levendig. Wij waren buiten het vakantie seizoen om.

My husband and I spent a lovely week at Asteri Home. The house was exactly as expected and just what we wanted for our week in Crete. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to make breakfasts and a some dinners at home. The main double bedroom was big enough and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit dark and the shower is quite small, but we made do. The most amazing part of the house is the huge garden overlooking the sea that has 4 sun loungers, 2 outdoor tables for dining, a BBQ and a dart board. We spent a lot of time sitting at the end of the garden enjoying the view. Véronique and Yiannis are amazing hosts. They were so helpful right from the start - arranging transport from the airport, a rental car, offering suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. Kokkini Hani is quieter than other more touristy parts of Crete we visited. We found wonderful Greek restaurants with fresh seafood everyday. The supermarket and shops are all in walking distance. A lovely place!

Logement conforme et encore mieux en vrai. Rien à redire tout était parfait et à la hauteur. Beaucoup de petits restaurants ce qui est un plus après une longue journée. Yannis est un hôte réactif et pleins de petites attentions :) Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

El lugar es fantástico para pasar unos días de descanso. La playa es divina y se encuentra a pocos metros de este Airbnb. Popis estuvo siempre atenta a todas nuestras necesidades y nos recibió con muchas cosas de bienvenida. Le agradecemos por eso porque llegamos de noche. Cerca hay un excelente minimarket en donde también se puede arrendar auto, lo que es obligación si quieres desplazarte para conocer bien la isla y todos los lugares que tiene. Stavros was fantastic, as was the history of this wonderful place. Rethymno was a beautiful town and we explored everywhere on foot. We decided on walking in the morning and then having a late lunch (each lunch was fantastic) and walking back up the hill to have a light supper on the deck at sunset. Beautiful and thank you so much for the care you put into your house to make it a wonderful experience.

We had an amazing 1 week stay at this beautiful place. Also the host was so sweet in helping us. She made sure we found the house during night time and got some food for us for breakfast. Also the place was very clean and the kitchen has everything you need. This place is just magical with the beautiful sunrise every morning. Also the inside of the house and spots outside the house give a very cozy feeling. We would also definitly recommend to hire the chef-kok for a night. It was one of the highlights of our stay because of the amazing food and their kindness to us. Would love to come here again!

Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of toys and even a potty for the kids! Cleaner came mid week which was not necessary but so great. Beach is a 3 min walk. Really need a car to get there which was fine for us! Thanks for everything.

We just loved everything about this airbnb!!!!! The house was AMAZING, incredible views, incredible features, we went to the pool, did barbecue, breakast with ocean view, everything and more we expected! Konstations is THE BEST host we ever got!! Not only he was hiper reactive, attentious ( he made sure to got us on the airport so we arrive well, his mom cooked us food because they would imagine we would arrive late and hungry), incredibly generous and nice!! We have many tips and support during the full trip ! Everything and more that we expected! Thank you again

What to say … This is from far the best villa we ever rented, with a fantastic see view, a very large clean, well equipped house perfectly described by our host. Pool house is very convenient to cook close to the pool area. Rent a car and visit the cute village nearby at 3 min, you are at 30 min from Heraklion. The area is quiet and easily accessible. Katarina has been exceptional offering us a welcome diner with traditional food cooked by her for us. She recommended our car rental, organised an easy pick up and drop at the airport. Great villa perched up on a hillside, with stunning sea view. You definitely need a hire car as nothing much within walking distance but this was clear when we booked. Three lovely bedrooms, 2 en-suite. The outdoor kitchen is a really good feature. Friendly host who was flexible with check in and out times. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The house is simply gorgeous. Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday here. The host was very generous with items in the refrigerator and a well stocked kitchen. Lots of recommendations of places to eat in the area. Michael met us in the driveway upon arrival and showed us everything in the house, that was very kind. Especially loved access to the washer and dryer because we were traveling with kids. It was too cold to use the pool, but if you are here when it is warm, it would be such delight.

We had the most dreamy of times at the villa! Maria gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home right away. We loved her hospitality and proactive hosting, giving us tips and recommendations of places to visit in the area. The place provided everything one could wish for, from pristine looking rooms to hammam showers, a fine gas bbq and shaded terrace, glorious swimming pool, comfy sofa and a kitchen chefs would enjoy. The surroundings are to die for. Sinuous roads and endless sea views, unique beaches, but also mountain hikes, gorges and wine tastings not far at all (car is a must). Closest taverna has delicious food. Agia Galini is a short drive away and offers all essentials should you need to shop, eat out, find an atm or go on a fishing boat trip. Thanks again for a fantastic stay! We will be back sooner than later!
