Holiday rentals with lake access in Libourne

We spent a weekend with friends at this lovely little house. Anne-Marie is pro-active and does everything to make your sehour go smoothly. Very pleasant bedding, quiet environment. The kitchen is very well equipped, all you have to do is shop and settle in. Don't hesitate, we'll come back sometime. See you soon Anne-Marie!

Great stay in a charming environment near the river - Terry & John were very discrete. We absolutely loved the Jeux de Boulde terrain in the yard and the cosy pizza baking area.

Auguste was an amazing host in his beautiful home. We have traveled Europe for a year and this has been our favorite Airbnb experience by far. You will never have a more friendly host and a more beautiful setting. Traveling with our two large dogs can be overwhelming for some people, but Auguste loved having our dogs and they loved him. The house is very spacious where our family of four could all spread out. Everything was perfect! You will feel right at home and spoiled by the environment. It was amazing! Go see Holly at the Apple and wine shop and don’t miss the Sunday market. It was all heaven! Thank you so much Auguste!!!

The hosts own home had all the facilities we needed for 2 couples sharing the house. In a quiet location and close to a lake and restaurant. Only a 5 minute drive into Bergerac therefore the best of everything..

Enchanting weekend in a true haven of peace… The mill is perfect for gatherings for families or groups of friends, with a very pleasant living room, and beautiful friendly spaces on each floor. Catherine is really a very pleasant and attentive host! We'll be back with pleasure and also to enjoy the outdoors this time. 🤩

It’s our second stay at Stephanie place. Hopefully won’t be the last. We love it there and see the horses so close by. We already thinking of be longer next time, because the surrounding areas are beautiful and so peaceful.

I wanted to recharge in the quietness of nature and found what I needed. Trees, birds, and tranquility! My dogs were delighted with these great spaces of freedom! Despite the rain, warm to make a fire in the wood burning stove and read under a blanket! Batteries recharged! Malory is adorable and very responsive! I treasure the address! Tip: If you're at Free, consider downloading your shows in advance! The network is bof but at the same time, we're here to disconnect! 🌳😍

easy to access and indicate on waze. the houseboat is at the dock no deploring. everything was perfect. Gaspard was able to tell us friendly and easy to find routes. excellent restaurants are nearby.

We were coming from a long trip with two kids and needed a night's rest, the place complied with what we needed and in the morning it's nice to be surrounded by nature and a river so close by.

It went very well. The accommodation is very good, easy to walk from Libourne train station and Perrine is very friendly and responsive and available! Anyway, I recommend it:)

We lived the place and Berenice! She was so kind and helpful. The location was great! We explored and relaxed in her beautiful place. The market is conveniently two doors down too. Such a wonderful place, we’d definitely stay there again.

Janine's property suited us perfectly. Walks from the property, supermarket (very good) nearby, award-winning pastry chef not too far away..... Bourg is a beautiful and interesting place and some of the Côte de Bourg wines are exceptional. Well located for Blaye - the citadel, the cliff, the ferry to cross the Gironde. The house is warm and cozy, but the electricity needs a little update, which we think will happen in the near future. The garden was perfect for dogs and there are great views from the patio which, in hot weather, would probably have been contemplated at leisure! Janine is friendly and responds quickly. We rarely go back to the properties but this could be an exception! A big thank you Janine and - maybe - see you soon.

Almost don’t want to say how lovely, as will make it more competitive to book to go back! In a word - glorious! - The gite, gardens and grounds and pool are kept beautifully. Gite was spotless and very well equipped (including lots of goodies on arrival, garden games to use there - kids were very happy - charcoal ready for the bbq etc), huge comfortable beds, and wood fired hot tub to sit and look at the stars. - Stunning surrounding views (endless fields of sunflowers) and lovely shady woods to be walk. - Lots of pretty villages - particularly Aubeterre with its central square and river beach worth the short drive (under 20 mins). We also loved the big river beach at St Aulaye (c.40 mins). - Meg and Mark are kind, fun and knowledgeable hosts who were perfect balance of around and incredibly helpful - but very much left us to just relax and enjoy the gite/pool as our own. - Shopping v easy at local supermarkets, various markets and nearby village shop/butchers. Thank you!!

This is a special place for those seeking peaceful surroundings, in an idyllic hamlet stepped in history. There is a brilliant swimming lake nearby, perfect for exercise and cooling down in and local woodland walks too. You can also just sit and read in the ample outside space and listen to the sounds of nature. Just let the stresses of life roll by! Furthermore the host and gardener live close by and both are warm and friendly.

Nice little apartment, really very well equipped, quietly located. On the terrace you can sit comfortably in the evening, in front of the river there is also a nice sitting area to enjoy the sunset. In the living room there is a guest bed, this is more suitable for children, with the weight of an adult it sags too much and is not so comfortable. But since we planned it as a bed for the children anyway, it was sufficient for us. Eric and his wife were very nice and warm. The area offers the possibility of many wine tastings, it is not far to Bordeaux and there is also a lot to explore in the area.

We spent a lovely relaxing week in this beautiful part of the world as the start to our holiday with our 3 daughters aged 16, 14 and 10. Great cottage and pool, fantastic and attentive hosts (David and Carol) and easy proximity to Duras / night markets / supermarkets etc. Our daughters loved Bella the Goose who kept them entertained! Many thanks for a great week.

We had a very pleasant stay for cousinades in this very pleasant cottage, perfectly suited for a group of 15 people. The house is impeccably clean, very comfortable, and ideally located in a peaceful setting by the river. The fireplace, with the logs provided, added a nice atmosphere to our evenings. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, which made group meals very easy to organize. Yohann, our host, was remarkable: attentive, available and always anxious to meet our desires. He recommended a pleasant hike ending with tapas in a cellar close to the house. Thanks to Yohann for his warm welcome. We recommend this cottage without a second thought and will be happy to come back!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Le Shedeaux. It is a beautiful property with picturesque landscape views and it is also close to scenic towns nearby. Paul is a friendly host who was accommodating, helpful and easy to contact. He set up the fireplace for our arrival which made the cottage very cosy. We look forward to returning!
