Guests who rent the cabin have access to a rowing boat, and there are good chances of catching fish in the water for those who are happy to fish. There are many opportunities for nice trips either on foot or by bike. The place is perfect for families with children. There is both a zipline and a swing right by the cabin, in addition to the forest and the water, which offers many opportunities for play.

The farmhouse is located in the middle of Gudbrandsdalen, midway between Oslo and Trondheim. Nearest neighbor is Sør-Fron Church (Gudbrandsdals Cathedral).
