I really enjoyed my time at George’s cabin. It was so incredibly peaceful. The room and the bathroom were very clean and smelled great. The bathtub is amazing, and I loved taking a bath every afternoon. My phone is att and it worked a little for texting, but that’s it. And I loved that. It was great to be removed from the world, but also able to quickly drive to so many great locations. I went on a hike within 30 minutes of the house every day and all were beautiful. George gave me plenty of space, but I did get to meet him, and he was so friendly and kind. Totally recommend this place!

We really appreciated how welcoming this cute mountain home was- from the fresh flowers to the fresh eggs. Everything was clean and comfortable- we will stay here again!

⸻ I had such a wonderful two-week stay at the farm. From the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly—especially the sweet little black cat named Teva, who wore a green collar and quickly became a favorite companion. Toni was so kind and responsive, always making sure everything was just right. The farm felt very safe and peaceful throughout my stay. Being in a cabin on a farm, a few bugs are to be expected, but it wasn’t an issue—I came prepared with essential oils, which worked well to keep them at bay. The cabin itself is cozy and compact, but the many windows let in so much natural light that it felt bright and open. The shower was great too—good water pressure and ventilation, though it might be a bit snug for some. Overall, it’s a lovely little escape—close enough to San Jose for convenience, but with a feeling of peaceful seclusion that makes it feel like a true retreat.

Louise & Eric's place was a wonderful stay while my wife & I attended my cousin's wedding and explored the area. Nestldown, was a short 1 mile drive away. Also convenient to Los Gatos, Santa Cruz, and a bit of a drive: Monterey and Pinnacles National Park. The hammock suspended between two giant redwood trees in a redwood forest was such a refreshment for the soul. I thoroughly enjoyed some prayerful, silent time there while my wife took a rest before the reception. Louise & Eric did a great job of hosting and when we had one hiccup in our experience Louise & Eric were very kind and took care of things. I would absolutely stay here again and I hope my wife and I have the opportunity to stay again some day. We noticed in the guest book we would not be the first repeat guest! Thanks very kindly Louise & Eric for providing a restful transition from our west coast adventure back home and a great home base for attending the wedding. God bless you both!
