Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lewis Smith Lake

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Julie and her place! I am so glad we had this opportunity to get away and relax and unplug. I have NEVER seen an Airbnb so well stocked...I don't even know if my own home is this stocked! :) So cozy, clean, and comfy. We enjoyed the quiet privacy, the beautiful view, the paths around the home to hike and explore, and watching college football on the porch. Even used the wood-burning fire place!! It was about a 30 minute drive to Walmart in Cullman to get groceries and it IS a dry county, so if you want any kind of alcohol, it's good to go ahead and get it, as the place is fairly remote. There are some great little market type places within a 10-15 minute drive for snacks, etc. We really had everything we needed and then some. Julie has thought of everything and has things organized and even labeled!!! Loved it. It rained a lot, but we enjoyed just relaxing with the view more than anything. Ping pong was fun on the porch too! Fabulous getaway!

Everything was as advertised. This is a cozy little house. The beds, and the living room furniture, were very comfortable The location was convenient, near many dining and shopping options, but yet very quiet. We were very close to the highway with easy in and out access. I don’t believe we heard or saw any neighbors. Nice little neighborhood as well.

Charming, comfortable, squeaky clean home. Host was responsive and welcoming. Easy access from I-65. Lovely and quiet setting with hosts' farm across the street. Spent one night on our way to Florida. Wished we could have stayed longer!

Really enjoyed this stay with family. Was a nice quiet place to hang out for a weekend while doing a few things around Cullman.

Our group had a great time at this house. The view and area was great and very relaxing. The amenities were also very good and saved us some time and hassle. Would highly recommend.

Natures Nest is a wonderful property! It is just as shown in the pictures and immaculately clean. The 5 bedrooms provided plenty of space for our group to spread out. This property would be great for extended family or 2 families travelling together because the lower / pool level has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and living area with coffee machine and a small fridge. Lots of privacy. The beds were comfortable and there were multiple eating areas. Kitchen is fully stocked. This property had MANY small niceties that are not always included. 2 large bags of ice in the freezer, extra trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper. Detergent for the onsite washer and dryer, lots of fluffy towels, including beach towels for the sparkling pool, over door hooks to hang clothes and towels, even spices in the kitchen. We would definitely stay at this property again!

This is a beautiful home. I love how you don’t feel like your in someone else’s home but like your in own home. The host is very responsive and so friendly. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Tucked away in a neighborhood but just blocks from downtown Cullman made this a convenient place to stay for the track meet at the high school. It is on the 2nd floor, in a quiet neighborhood, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for the weekend! Check in and communication was easy and this fit our needs perfectly for a quick two night stay.

Went to watch my grandson's play baseball. The place was perfect. I was worried with the reviews talking about how the neighbor's were loud. But it was was perfect. No problems at all. Jason was a great host. I would definitely recommend staying at Jason's place. I know I will again!

Trevor was a great host and the place was as described and very clean. He made sure everything was in order for my stay. Place was very convenient for Smith Lewis Lake. It is a perfect place if you bring a boat as you are able to back right up to the door. We will certainly stay here when we come back to Smith Lewis.

Decided to stay overnight at “The Nest” to attend the Veterans Day celebration at the regional airport in Vinemont. Messaged Tony and Meg my plans and that I was probably arriving somewhere around 9 PM local. Kept them informed of my trip progress. On getting to the destination, GPS was a little weird. The place was actually straight off the hardtop. Check in was a breeze. Key code worked perfectly once I realized I was at the wrong door. Upstairs knucklehead, not the bottom garage door. The loft was very clean, quiet, and spacious. Had a small table, small refrigerator with freezer, snacks, coffee, pot, a TV, and a water warmer. Some games and books. Plenty of linens also. The couch was very comfortable as well as the bed. The closet is spacious if you needed to hang up clothing. The bathroom had room to move, but if you’re average height or more, trying to stand close to the toilet or the sink requires some ducking down. The sink is a bit tiny, but usable. Outdoors is pretty nice.

Our stay was great. The lake is beautiful. Plenty of parking. Condo was very clean. Owner was friendly and responsive and let us check in early, which made our timing much easier as we were trying to meet up with family in the area and needed to unload our car. Will definitely be back!

Jennifer was a great host. The condo was very clean, well stocked and has great views. The boat slip is very convenient and central to anything in Arley.

My girlfriends and I stayed here for a girl's weekend and it was just beautiful - very spacious and comfortable and the view can't be beat. It was super clean and really well equipped and the host left a beautiful bouquet of flowers and box of pastries for us and we thought that was a wonderful touch and a warm welcome into their home. The location was absolutely perfect! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
