Monthly Rentals in Levens

We had a fantastic last minute weekend break at Groom's Cottage. Catherine met us when we arrived to facilitate check in. She was friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and gave recommendations for places to visit. the cottage was very comfortable and as described. the cottage felt secluded but was close to transport links for exploring the area. Breakfast items were in the kitchen on arrival which was a nice welcome touch. Would happily visit again.

We spent a week at Mary's lovely cottage as a family group of 5. The cottage was perfectly situated to explore all around the central Lakes area and into the Yorkshire Dales. We chose the location for easy access to major roads, and it was certainly convenient. Mary was very welcoming and provided helpful information for the surrounding area. Our kids loved the play area across the drive, and we walked up the nearby footpath to see the glorious view across the bay on several evenings. The kitchen was well supplied with paraphernalia for cooking. We would happily stay at Mary's cottage on a future trip to the area :)

A great stay. It’s a lovely home, a very well maintained space, pristine, spotless, great shower, good kitchen appliances and such a relaxing view from the master bedroom, living room and balcony. Accessible too, 30 min to Windermere and little further to northern/western lakes. Elaine is very responsive, flexible and proactive. Overall we had a fab time and would definitely return.

Superb stay, suits people who are after a peaceful, relaxing environment. Accommodation is adjoined to horse stables but we had no noise, that interrupted our stay. The accommodation is a generous size with private aspect to the garden. The only slight negative is the kitchen utensils are minimalistic. We would have no problem in recommending Helens to friends and family, and feel that we would love to return. Many thanks Helen.
