We had a great stay catching up with friends! The accommodation was as described, very clean, well located and perfectly equipped. The quality of the layout and decoration is top notch. The same goes for the outdoor spaces, with terraces all around the house so you can enjoy the sun at any time of the day. The host was very responsive and thoughtful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Super clear instructions, and a short message during the stay to know if everything is going well. We fell under the spell of the pool, the wild environment (in the middle of the forest, we could see hares) and this house with typical architecture of the region, enhanced by a high-quality renovation. As architects, we have been able to appreciate the mix between the charm of the old and contemporary functionality. Big plus also for the very high quality bedding. In short, amazing accommodation

We had a great time at this charming place. Ideal location in the cool forest. But be careful anyway for those more sensitive to heat in summer, there is no air conditioning and everything is made of bay windows. Also, a heads up to my arachnophobic friends, this type of accommodation is a little challenge. Otherwise, the accommodation is very charming and comfortable, although the two additional bedrooms are quite cramped for anything other than children.

The house is spacious and very well-equipped, the pool is very nice! The many bathrooms and toilets are a real plus when you live at 8. The only slight "downside" is that the house overlooks a fairly busy road but on the other hand the windows insulate very well from noise and in the evening there are fewer cars anyway so it didn't bother us too much.

Really ideal for partying with family and children. Even though the weather wasn't with us, we took advantage of it. In addition, the house is decorated with a multitude of heathered objects, really nice! Wild beaches are reached by foot!

Sophie & Fabien were very hosts responsive. It was a pleasure to connect with them. The house was like the photos of the listing, as quiet as beautiful with all the necessary equipment.

We just spent 10 wonderful nights here. What can I say apart from it was perfect. Yves and Scarlett are great hosts. They are on hand if you need them but very discreet the rest of the time. The barn is very well equipped and has everything needed to self cater. The grounds are amazing and kept in fantastic condition - we regularly used the pool and hot tub. There are 4 resident donkeys, a small dog and a cat. All are lovely - the donkeys are a pleasure to watch. We went out to a town called Salies de Bearn and would highly recommend it for nice scenery, cafes, bars and restaurants. There are supermarkets and bakeries in nearby towns. The hosts are great at making recommendations. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back ☺️

Nath & Fred's house is wonderful and in a great location - right behind the dune. It is superbly equipped and you have many options for using the house; on the great covered terrace or in the garden with feet in the sand. It is very tastefully decorated with many details! Through the garden, the outdoor shower and another area under the terrace, you can get everything super clean & dry after the beach day, which is worth a lot! It's a special place! We were very comfortable! About the area: You can walk to the great wide beach in a few minutes. A great restaurant/beach bar is right on the street; as well as a great bakery and of course a surf shop (relaxed & cheap)! Mimizan is a small place, but you have everything you need! We were at Nath & Fred last year despite a very long journey (15 hours) - it is definitely worth it! Thanks for everything!

Laurent is responsive and his information is clear. The house is old, comfortable but cold upon arrival. You can hear the noise of traffic in bedroom 2 especially since a sewer is right in front of the window. It should also be noted that there is no electric car charging station contrary to what was stated in the list of amenities at the time of our reservation. But there is a public kiosk on a parking lot a few minutes walk from the house.

Pleasant accommodation and environment. Well-equipped house, very nice shaded garden. Small problem, busy road linked to a certainly temporary detour. Very nice stay.

We had a great time with our three daughters. Julie is available, helpful and always smiling. The place is quiet, peaceful and you can find everything you need to feel at home as soon as you put your suitcases down. We will gladly recommend this address to our loved ones and we would gladly return.

House in the middle of the forest. Very nice decoration and painting from the owner. Very well-equipped house, in the middle of a very large garden, outdoor shower, trampoline, many tables and chairs to be outside and very nice living room. Good bedding, functional kitchen. For those looking for calm, an experience in the middle of the forest, this house is perfect.

We had a 3 night stay here and wish it was longer! Such a clean and peaceful place. Super close to the beach to catch some waves, eat good food and simply enjoy the beach or go for a walk in nature. There was a massive fridge, nice if you’re with more people and want to have a nice bbq night. We were only with 2 and the house really felt like coming home. Indoor and outdoor. Nice spot for my morning Yoga and breakfast in the sun. The overall design makes it fun and brings you in complete holiday mode. The aircon keeps the house nice and cool. If you’re here to surf, Ben‘s house is the place to be. You cannot get closer to the ocean than this, and Messanges offers the longest and quietest surf beach in the area. We’ve had a fantastic time, and the house just made of even more special: breakfasts on the terrace, waking up to pure silence and breathing in the fresh ocean air.

It was absolutely perfect! An impeccable welcome, very friendly hosts who made our stay easier by advising us wonderfully on activities. Everything was very clear about the accommodation, which was even better than expected! The cabin was impeccable, we loved our stay in the moors and we keep the address carefully to come back.

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful house and our expectations were far exceeded. The location is perfectly quiet yet central, so we could easily reach everything in the area. The house itself is tastefully decorated, extremely clean and offers plenty of space for a relaxing break. A special highlight was the incredibly back-friendly mattresses - we rarely slept so well!!! It was really relaxing to wake up rested in the morning. A detail that takes the stay to another level. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and responsive to our questions. They have thought of everything, from small welcome touches to tips for the area. We really felt at home and were able to fully enjoy the time undisturbed. We would recommend this house to everyone without hesitation! A big thank you to the hosts!

The location shown on the map was not accurate but finding the house was easy. Seems like it was refurbished recently and was in excellent condition. The air conditioning was a real unexpected bonus. We have two young children and it was perfect. There is a lockable gate to the drive so they couldn’t escape and it allowed us to relax whilst they played around the house. Catherine helped us understand how to work a few of the things like coffee and a/c and her “concierge” was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Leon as a location is also excellent.
