“This place is amazing. It's an 18th century cabin which is so quaint and unique. Great place to retreat. No phone service so it's a great place to escape life. Lovely walking. Amazing old homestead to look at. Beautiful sheep and lovely horse! It's a bit cold in winter but there are fire places and heaters. So welcoming and breakfast and tea and coffee. Would love to return one day.”

“Leslea was a wonderful host! We only stayed a single night but were greeted on arrival by Leslea who gave us a tour of the property including an overview of its history, which was great to hear before we stayed in the Waverley Cottage. It is so nice to see how passionate Leslea clearly is about the property and how much she loves hosting people there! The space was lovely and tidy and has a lot of character - certainly one for lovers of all things unique, cosy and quaint. Pack your winter woolies as it gets cold overnight, but the electric blankets and fireplace were nice cosy touches to add some warmth. Fully stocked kitchen including fresh eggs, milk and bread were a very nice addition to top off our stay. Would highly recommend.”
