Leissigen is a village at the lake of Thun. It's a perfect place to explore the area of the Berner Oberland. Because it's central located you're near to all worth seeing spots. You only have 5 minutes to the trainstation. We also offer you a manifold breakfast (vegan and non vegan food). And you have only 2 minutes until you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the lake of thun.
“We really enjoyed our stay. The space was very clean. Breakfast was generous. In just ~200 steps you are standing at beautiful Lake Thun, where we enjoyed having a glass of wine in the evening. Varenna shared a great suggestion for watching the sunset which we also enjoyed on our last evening. Varenna and her family are very kind. The drive to Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald were ~20 min and such a lovely drive. We would stay here again.”

Der gesamte See liegt einem zu Füssen, grandioser Ausblick auf die Berge. Entfernung (Auto/Zug) Interlaken - 10 Minuten Thun - 20 Minuten Bern 40 Minuten Luzern 60 Minunten Simple, functional, room for 1-2 persons. The room has a private entrance, a small fridge, tea maker and 1 hotplate. No chilrdren.
“We had 2 great nights in Leissigen & were warmly welcomed by Iris. Our apartment has a separate entrance, bathroom with shower and small, functional kitchen with fridge, dishes, pans and 2 hot plates. Parking in front of the house. The special thing about the apartment: The breathtaking view over the lake! Leissigen itself is right on the lake, the train station is easily accessible, the village shop is open 7 days a week and there is a fine pizzeria on site. You reach Thun, Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen very quickly and can tackle many wonderful hikes. A visit to Iris in Leissigen was definitely worth it, gladly again! :)”
Bright and cozy studio in Därligen, approx. 5 km from Interlaken. Ideal starting point to the excursion destinations in the Jungfrau region. The train station can be reached in 15 minutes. Walk, the lake is 5 minutes.
“We really enjoyed staying at Carmelina's accommodation. We even had our two dogs with us, who were also welcome. Carmelina was very helpful and uncomplicated, even loaned us a hat and gloves for a short hike to the summit. The studio has everything you need and is perfect for a few days in the Bernese Oberland. A great starting point for hikes in the surrounding area! We are happy to recommend the studio!”
