And the most beautiful thing about home is the people you share it with😃 The towns of Altdorf, Lauf & Hersbruck with the spa are close, about 15 km. The beautiful half-timbered house is over 200 years old and has been completely renovated. Ground floor: kitchen, dining room, bathroom, On the 2nd floor: 2 bedrooms. Top floor: living room, reading/study room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom. Landlord: uses the office!

With the beautiful garden and the magnificent view of the nature reserve, it is ideal for nature lovers, hikers, bikers or other pleasant companions. You can fire up the electric grill, fry sausages outside or simply roast yourself in the sun. The electricity comes - of course depending on the weather - from solar energy or battery storage.

Old town house in a class of its own

Our charming townhouse from the 19th century is in the heart of the Middle Franconian small town of Lauf a.d. Pegnitz right next to the historic Wenzelschloss. It combines old sandstone walls with an urban lifestyle. In the immediate walking distance is the city center with good shopping, top restaurants and cafes. In about 25 minutes you can reach the city center of Nuremberg, the airport or the Nuremberg fairgrounds. The hiking paradise of Franconian Switzerland is also not too far away.

Dreamy Tiny House Handrösschen

The tiny house with a view of the horse paddock is located on our historic farm just outside Nuremberg. It has a small kitchen with a 2-burner induction hob, a fridge, air conditioning, a small bathroom with a shower and a Trobolo separation toilet (brilliant, no unpleasant odours). The double bed (160 x 200 cm) is accessible via a ladder, and the cosy sofa and fireplace complete the living area. Only outdoor washing-up liquid/shampoo is allowed. Fireplace and fire pit by arrangement.

Here you will stay in a cozy, bright and lovingly furnished apartment spread over 80 square meters in a quiet location but still central due to the short distance of 4 km to the highway and 2 km to the S-Bahn connection to Nuremberg. In Winkelhaid there are two supermarkets, one of them with a baker and butcher, so nothing stands in the way of self-catering.

Subway station only 50 meters away, perfect to explore Nuremberg.

Cozy apartment with special charm

Cozy apartment (1 room) on the upper floor of our annex for a break in the countryside. Very conveniently located. Nuremberg can be reached in 25 minutes by car. In addition, the property is close to the historic towns of Altdorf, Lauf and Röthenbach, which invite you to explore. Many hiking trails, such as the famous "Fränkische Dünenweg" or the Moritzberg, start right outside the front door. For children, there is a small petting zoo with 2 Cameroon sheep.

Your time off: short trip to the countryside, weekend house

Whether for a weekend or the whole week: Here you can escape and unwind from city life. In the garden you can fully relax, linger and enjoy: There is a sauna for the winter and a heated pool in the summer (23 degrees). Bike tours, hikes or just a cozy day in the garden - everything is right "in front of your nose." I'm happy to help you choose hiking, running or cycling tours. A car is required to get there. Public transport is rather difficult

Adjacent to the nature reserve is our romantic chalet, which invites you to spend relaxing days together as a couple. With magnificent views, you can look over the Pegnitztal and relax. Relax in the hot tub with waterfall, enjoy the warmth of the Swiss pine infrared chairs or simply feel comfortable on the covered terrace and listen to the rippling of the spring.
